So Raza, probably one of my favorite cards of gadgetzan, probably could get a lot better in Knight of the Frozen Throne. Why do i think this? Well it's because of Benedictus and a lot of Priest stealing cards, and that I imagine some of the death knights will be fairly popular at least at the start of the expansions. The main idea is that you would play Raza/kazakus before playing Benedictus. Then you get a stolen death knight and now you have a very powerful hero power for free each turn, and it's not that unlikely that benedictus would get you a death knight since most of them aren't something you would want to keep in your opening hand as they are dead cards till late game.
The Death Knights that would work well with this so far would be Jaina, Rexxar, and Thrall. Jaina gives you more healing with elementals and let's you deal 1 damage. Rexxar is just a free card every turn, and Thrall let's you "heal" a friendly minion each turn and make it "probably" stronger. Also Valeera is kinda horrible as it's a passive hero power that doesn't cost you anything (the card itself would though).
Anyone else think that Raza could be great with these other death knights if you could steal them?
Don t think it will work as you say, then why wasn t 2x Doomsayer in a reno deck or anything like it good in such a deck? Just draw doomsayer right? Same with your comm, just draw raza right?

Well it does work.
It would technically work, IF you draw Raza and play it first. The reason you didn't see many 2x cards in Reno decks is because it was really inconsistent and so didn't really "work" practically.

Currently I think the priests own DK has the strongest Raza Synergy hands down. Just tons of repeated hero powers is good, really good.

it's basically 50 50 on drawing Raza or Benedictus first, and often you don't necessarily even need to or want to play benedictus first. Course you can also use curious glimmer root, mind visions, thought steals, etc. to randomly get the deathknight as well.

Sure, The priest DK does have a lot of synergy but i'm just thinking that 0 mana exceptionally strong hero power can be great in it's own right. Heck I imagine you could play mage deathknight for the lifesteal on elementals while waiting for the priest Deathknight and I'd imagine the lifesteal effect will still be active.

I don't think the mage hero power is that much improved being free. You're already at 10 mana, floating two after this point is pretty common. You still need to kill something to get the elemental, a job mage is far better at than priest. Rogue obviously sucks. Thrall isn't bad to get however, but I still thinks it's not as strong as the priest dk one. Hunter I think is the best out the non priest ones for sure and maybe even tied with priest. But we are talking about first playing Raza before Benedictus. Then playing with a far less consistent deck and then drawing to Rexxar who could be who knows where with 40+ cards in the deck.
Personally I will craft gold Benedictus cause he is fun, but I don't think he is good. Putting opponents cards into my hand is one thing, putting them into my deck is something different entirely. Especially when Raza forces a highlander set up which is already inconsistent along with shuffling someone elses deck into my already inconsistent deck making it even less so.
Never good to to put yourself in a position that you have 2x of anything in your deck playing Highlander. I can't even count the times just Entomb screwed me from gaining 1-of abilities when there was no other play but to steal the opponents Sylvanas/Reno/whatever. A whole rest of a deck? Na. It'll backfire more often than not in a Highlander deck.

It's mostly just Raza. All it means is play Raza before Benedictus. Can you remember to not play the awful tempo card that ruins the effect of a main card in the deck before that card is played?

Sure I can. I've hit legend multiple times every year playing Priest since HS has been out. But thinking it'll be easy to have both Raza and the Archbishop in hand in the majority of match ups or having Raza first is unrealistic, 50/50. Unless you want to keep Raza in your mulligan. But you run the risk of being run down by aggro, which isn't going away.
Stabilizing against early round aggressions is no easy task for a highlander deck. That's why they've basically disappeared in standard since Reno went out. Now if the game becomes more control in nature sure. But who honestly believes that's going to happen?
Raza the Chained is good with literally all hero powers, so insofar as the new Death Knight hero powers are very powerful, getting them for free would be even better. And I agree that Priest is the only class in a position to really do that. (I suppose Mage and Warlock could try running Kabal Courier to see if they can fish out a Raza, but that's about as good a strategy as the Coldarra Drake + Shadowform strategy - great when it works, but comically impractical as a win condition.)
That said, I'm not totally sold on Archbishop Benedictus in a highlander style Priest. You can't really afford to play it before Raza the Chained, and your odds of drawing both by around turn 10 or so is at most ~25%. If the meta is slow enough, I do like the idea of running something Devour Mind, and that may get you those bonus Death Knight cards. In control mirrors you could even use Shadow Visions to try and pull 2x Devour Mind, but that feels like the limit of what's safe to play in a highlander deck.

True. It works but it's not good.

Benedictus would put multiple copies of some of cards in your deck which would nullify Raza

Or, you know, you could play him with the priest dk that was specifically designed to work with Raza

Raza and the deathknights, sounds like a pop group lol
