I just had a funny experience playing as Priest against a Rogue that I wanted to share. It was a casual match, I was just doing my Daily Quest for gold. I have hardly played Priest, and only have it leveled up to 12. Playing Priest requires too much math for me. :p But here we go!
This was my deck. I'm sure it's not that great, but again it was my first time building a Priest deck.
Turn 6 - I played Gurubashi Berserker. [Me: 21, Rogue: 26] I thought maybe Rogue would be tempted to remove it versus going for my face, but....
Turn 6 - Rogue played Abusive Sergeant and Abusive Sergeant buffing Bloodsail Raider to 11/3 and hit me for -11, then hit me for -5 with weapon, and played Sinister Strike hitting me for -3. [Me: 2, Rogue: 26] Rogue emotes "Mistakes were made, I will be your death, and all that nonsense....
Turn 7 - I played Divine Spirit and Divine Spirit buffing Gurubashi to 2/28. Then I played Inner Fire making Gurubashi 28/28. I paused a few seconds letting Rogue continue to emote threats. (Why do people do that, anyway?) Then I hit Rogue for -28 damage. [Me: 3, Rogue: dead]
lololololololol
I decided maybe I should play Priest a little more. :D

Yeah math and numbers are apparently not your thing. Assassins Blade on T4, with coin? How do you then lose 5 health from a 3 attack weapon.
Overall sometimes Divine Spirit + Inner Fire is in hand and can be played on a reasonable minion for some huge damage. Most of the time the Bloodsail Raider kills the Berserker and survives.
If it was a T5 weapon, Coin, Poison it looks different, but then your plays were super risky. Senjin versus the Blade that kills it for free, Berserker versus Pirate that kills it for free.
Well, I was going from memory. I just remember that my opponent was at 26 and I was at 3, when I was able to buff Gurubashi. I don't always make the most strategic plays, and I often miscalculate. Anyway, it was just a fun experience I wanted to share.

It sure is and it is probably a lesson for the rogue to clear and take an extra turn before lethal.
For me it was when I left a Gurubashi and an Elven Archer alive - at 29 health... that elven archer >_>
Ow, yeah, Elven Archer stings a little. :p
