I got some new cards and I try to build a priest control deck after the recent sucess of the priest hypetrain choo choo. I need your opinion on two different decks.
With this deck we have a lot of synergys between the low cost buffs Inner Fire, Divine Spirit and Power Word: Shield combined with eighter Lightwell, Nat Pagle, Gurubashi Berserker or Shieldbearer to make them lategame threats or force a removal card. Furthermore, we have a nice synergy between Ligthwell, Imp Master and Cult Master which allows you to draw many cards if you want. Spellbreaker for more board control and the lategame with Ragnaros and Ysera. There is not much synergy with Bloodmage Thalnos, he is used to buff Holy Nova but maybe I should take Holy Smite somehow. Opinions?
In this deck we have a better synergy with Bloodmage Thalnos to buff your Holy Smite. We have synergys between the Northshire Clerics and the Injured Blademaster which allows you to draw cards. Your Questing Adventurer can snowball your midgame into an easy win and the Sunfury Protector helps you to survive the early game against rush decks until turn 5 where you can play Abo / Holy Nova. Late game winnings conditions are again Mindcontrol, Ragnaros and Ysera.
Any thougts? Any experience with such kind of decks? All suggestions are welcome!
I like the second deck a lot more, combo priests are incredible inconsistent and you end up with a lot of useless cards in your hand, specially without Stormwind Knight for the Charge surprise.
Divine Spirit without Inner Fire is meh, and 2 SW:Death are overkill. Nat Pagle and Sunfury Protector just don't cut it either.
I would add some lategame power, since Ysera alone isn't enough.
-2 Divine Spirit, -1 SW:Death, -1 Nat Pagle, -2 Sunfury Protector, +2 Argent Commander, +2 Temple Enforcer, +2 Holy Fire If you are getting wrecked in the early game, you can try Shattered Sun Clerics or Ironfur Grizzly, but that's a weakness in every Priest deck (useless early game Hero Power).
PD: Azure Drakes are an option too, if you don't wanna go too heavy on 6's. I would put it instead of the Enforcers.
Yeah, just try it out really and see what is giving you more trouble.
Remember that no deck is perfect, you adjust according to what you face and gives you trouble. Specially in this game where the meta changes so fast, one week ago Priests were all the rage, then the OTK hunters, then Aggro Mages, etc.
Knife Juggler I don't like without a minion pumping machine like a Warlock, Paladin or Shaman.
The best way to polish decks is to play it a lot and be extremely concious about what is dead weight or not. Analytical thinking is key to getting a better version of a deck
I really dislike having a faerie dragon as a priest. You can't buff it with power word:shield and you can't heal it.
I think the faerie dragon is underrated card. They are awesome when the board is empty specially vs casters (in the first turns of the game specially).
putting the faerie dragon early on guarantees damage and forces the oponent to take action as in putting out a minion or using some aoe damage.
But sure it can be replaced by other cards and it will work just as good. I like the Novice Engineer card which is basically free because of the draw card battlecry and good in the beginning of the game.

Hello everyone,
I got some new cards and I try to build a priest control deck after the recent sucess of the priest hypetrain choo choo. I need your opinion on two different decks.
Deck 1:

Thank you,

something like this? don't know if the questing adventurer is worth cause i have no solid 2 drop...
or maybe with Faerie Dragon instead of Knife Juggeler for early game..
