As you can see, I have two main combos in this deck:
1) Health Building + Inner Fire
I first boost my minions with power word:shield, young priestess, divine spirit and temple enforcer and then I use inner fire to create a huge threat! (20/20 or greater creatures). Lightspawn also works great without inner fire but I usually prefer to boost a creature with taunt. This combo usually leads to a one turn kill.
2) Healing + Lightwell + Northshire Cleric
No need for explanations here. It is really effective with this deck because I usually have high hp creatures. Every turn I am healing someone, sometimes twice. My hand is always full.
A great combo I have seen: TURN 3 DOOM BEARER
Turn 1: Shield Bearer Turn 2: 2x Power Word Shied Turn 3: Divine Spirit + Inner Fire = 16/16 Shield Bearer
It will probably be nerfed..
SOME DOUBTS I HAVE
1x Harisson Jones 1x The Black Knight 2x Holy Nova 2x Mind Control
All very situational but life savers when they proc. What do you think about them?
Deck has 2 MCs as removal and 4 taunts which do 0/1 damage. Assuming the enemy has two removal cards for your inner fire, or poke you down before you can cast it, you're dead.
This is an 'all your eggs in one basket' kind of deck for that combo you described. Like most priest decks, it doesn't work all around. Only when lucky.
This deck might work in lower leagues, but will never see the light against any player worth their salt. By trading a 16/16 Shieldbearer with 4 buff cards (which can be easily killed by a variety of spells like Polymorph, Execute, Deadly Shot, etc., or silenced), you're essentially losing 5 cards to 1.
Trust me, don't think that just because you have a pumped up creature that you're going to win the game. I've seen this multiple times, a friend of mine plays priest that way, managed to hit me once with a 28/28 Gurubashi Berserker, then I polymorphed it and he ran out of threats to play, eventually he was overwhelmed and killed even though I had 10 HP left (I had Ice Barrier up before the hit). You can never rely exclusively on one threat (especially a threat that's easily countered, like a minion). IMO you should remove all of the Shieldbearers and Mogushan Wardens (maybe even Inner Fire, drop this strategy completely and play an all-around aggro priest), in favor of some removals like Shadow Word Pain and Death. And one Silence is not enough, get at least one more Spellbreaker.

Moved your deck to the Priest section.
I think Holy Nova and Mind Controls are staple in a Priest deck, no doubts needed!

You're not going crazy, I edit 2~3 times each post
