Decent AoE would be something nice to have. This is the only thing I feel is really lacking in Priest. Other removal cards have their issues, but are mostly fine.
Second aspect I would like to see improved is the early game. Priest has always been a control deck. Seeing something more aggro/shadow oriented would be awesome.

I dont want more early game for priest. It is good that not all classes can do everything. Just give priest better early control options that can go two for one and not be conditional, similar to weapons.
priest is very much playable. i reached rank 5 with resurrect priest last season without to much effort. i had pretty good winrate against shaman with it and warrior was a 100% win most of the time. hunter was solely dependant on wheter they had freezing trap, if not i would win most of the time.
Good for you. But I cant believe how you have good win rate. Shaman has everything (including perfect early game). Then (by turn 3-4 you are already under big pressure) you drop one of big guys and it immideately becomes frog. You are done. Also weak to secrets. Its possible to play. But your effectiveness (effort to win rate) are so worse than other classes.
Lol, Dragon Priest wrecked me twice while I was playing good Hunter deck at rank 5. It's perfectly playable if you don't go all greed. And resurrect Priest - unplayable? You've got to be kidding me. Spamming 4/7-s, which you can't kill.
Control Warrior is a problem for a Priest, through, you have to outplay him or he will just tank up endlessly.
Priest is good, people just don't like their complexity. They are difficult to play well.
Dragon priest and resurrect are both very strong in standard and ladder well, just slowly. Making them unpopular. Still good Emirates. Priest strength is kinda like Renolock. You have to read the line into late game and build to the win.
Saying shaman had every answer is swell, however, not everyone mulligans hex, trogg, totem golem. Thats just good or bad luck and an excuse really.
Also at the highest level of play there is a player headed to blizzcon, top 8 in the world, with a priest! Who would have thought eh? Must have been total dumb luck and bad playing by the opponents, cause priest sucks vs everything.
L2P, if you just play priest for quests and netdeck you won't win because you don't know how to play the deck or the class. Simple as that.
Priest is absolutely not good. By the time you are at turn 5, you can play your AOE to get rid of all opponents minions but then they spit out full board again within 2 turns and you are dead meat. No big pro-dragon AOE is going to help you with that. It's a slightly better variation of Light Bomb but it's not going to help you early game, which is our weak spot at this point.
Everyone is overhyping the current priest cards but you will see the let down in the end.

Its definately worst class but surely not unplayable.

This will be a dead thread soon...
this will change to priest too OP. nerf threads. and complain every card with starting name dr 1, dr 2, dr 3 etc
I can foresee the upcoming threads: "Priest is OP", "Nerf Priest", "How to beat Priest", etc
haha sry guy, never ever, yeah, maybe 5,10,15 Games at Rank 10-15 but in the End you will have 50% winrate.
The Legend 1 Dragonwarrior from Lifecoach for example had about 63-64% winrate.
Resurrect Priest ist so fucking inconsintent
