Priest does NOT need new cards! What Priest NEEDS is for the basic/classic cards to be reworked because they ALL suck - every last one. They weren't even usable in vanilla.
Sticky midrange? I just want some early game value. Give me something that I can drop on turn 2-3 that will trade for two or more zoo/aggro champs or some better come back mechanics. Circle combo is just not reliable enough and EE is a bad card.
1. Bishop 3 mana 3/4 battlecry: restore 2 health to all other minions.
This serves another clear to use with embrace on t5 or soul priest on t7 or can be used to keep your board alive after trades. It also generates tempo with a 3/3 body.
2. Phantom valet 3 mana 3/6 taunt; can't attack.
Buys some time to stabilize without being ridiculous like Deathlord/belcher. Maybe make this neutral?
3. Prayer of healing. Spell, 1 mana. Heal a minion and the minions next to it for 2.
More synergy for embrace/soul priest. With only Coh to pair with these cards, they are too often dead in hand. With 4-6 cards that can be used in synergy, a player is more likely to have some defense available.
The classic set being horrific is the biggest issue of Priest -- no identity, just steal everyone else's -- so I doubt this adventure will *really* fix Priest for the long run.
But! I'd love to see a more proactive Priest style -- real synergy with shadow cards like Embrace and Shadowform, Mindblast shenanigans, etc.

Northshire Cleric, Power Word: Shield, Auchenai Soulpriest and Cabal Shadow Priest do not 'suck'. I know Priests are in a bad spot, but lets stay a little realistic here. Priest was fine after LoE, the class just didn't get much after Old Gods, which is the reason it is bottom tier now, just like Paladin. But the situation is salvagable, if Blizzard chooses to.
People need to calm down and chill.... Both Shaman and Priest havenot had any card revealed yet. Im pretty sure we will see at least one for each class sometime this week.

With Doomsayer thats better than auchenai+circle combo for board clear...wayyy better BUT its another 2 card combo which will make this unreliant and thats not what priest needs.

It clears. But you cant play other minions. So next turn Shamans/Zoo will make same board.
As a loyal priest player and Amaz follower from the beginning, this gives me a slight glimmer of hope that Blizzard actually accomplished something special for the priest class in order to boost it back up with the new cards, like Shamans once did.

What we need are the following:
Strong early game cards which allow us to compete for the board. Needs to be at least 4 health to avoid fiery win axe or icebolt etc
The only 3 drop minion we have is Shadowfiend, which I have never seen played. We're really missing Dark Cultist here.
Plot twist, they gave Priest all trash again and they haven't revealed any of the Priest cards yet because they know everyone will be disappointed.

The Priest Card is in the trailer ... the 7 mana 2/4 ... We just don't know its text.
