Depending on what kind of priest deck idea you go for i'd say the best priest counter tends to be priest. I know it's not really a counter but a lot of the time priest uses big health minions which priest removal doesn't care about. Plus priest tend to rely on buffs a lot and priest had access to the most silence cards in the game, so can remove or reduce the buffs. Saying that cards like Sap, Freezing Trap and Vaporize tend to deal we'll with big buffed creatures we'll.
I guess it depends on the type of deck as if it's more a case of 4 cost minions/shadow priest then something like Mage might be better than priest as Mage has good removal and can use the freeze mechanic for crowd control.
I am running a Ancient Watcher type priest with COH and Soulpriest, the removal is very good, I can't actually find a strong counter, Priest match ups are usually all about card draw.

Miracle rogue probably has an about equal matchup to all control decks, including priest. Maybe it's even a bit stronger than normal because most better priest decks are basically tons of removal, while the miracle rogue doesn't run that many minions. The same goes for freeze mage, although priest has a lot of healing to counter that.
Other than that, maybe facehunter or paladin aggro?
I find Miracle Rogue a easy match up - Since you can wipe his card Auctioneer even if he conceals it and my priest deck has a lot of taunt cards with high health.
Facehunter and Aggro Paladin have no chance - because of the anti aggro cards like Holy Smite, Holy Nova and the large taunt cards.
I've had a lot of success with druid v. priest lately. I run 2 wild growths along with 2 innervates and I can often get a dotc out by turn 2 or 3. Any mid range deck with plenty of 4 attack minions should do the trick though.
Priests are weak to Miracle Rogue unless you're running some weird funky build. Typical Priest decks have little early game pressure which pretty much lets the Rogue have a free pass to a Gadgetzan turn.
Midrange Druids and Ramp Druids are problematic for priests as well due to the amount of 4 ATK minions they can get out.
Miracle seems to be my worst matchup by far, priests aren't fast early on and he has far too much removal for you to get a board presence early on, and since his minions all have 3-4 health you will have a hard time clearing them without circle of healing, and even if you do have circle of healing for his auctioneer he doesn't have to play it at turn 5 against a priest so he can get through his entire deck even if auctioneers get removed when it's your turn.
I am honestly at quite a loss at what to do against rogues, i've tried pretty much every kind of priest deck(that's overall viable and not just a counter to a specific deck) and i can't find anything that can have a decent winratio against rogues. Bad matchups are expected of course, but it's a bit annoying when around 45%(from games tracked this last week around rank 5-8) are rogues.
I agree with the comments for Druid. They have a lot of 4 attack minions which can be wiped but generally take more than one card to do so. I find myself losing to that and a lot of Shaman as well. Rank 17-10 is where I have been at this season mostly.
I would say when I play my Priest (every game haha) I end up not getting hard counters but having a hard time staying consistent. A lot of my games feel like the RNG gods are telling me I am not allowed to win. I read a lot of articles and comments saying that playing and feeling that way generally suggests you aren't great at the game. In beta I did make it to Legend (perhaps that was due to the smaller player pool?). Anyways sorry to derail, I think though that my thoughts are that there really isn't a "hard" counter, it is more just the win rate overall, almost like; you win some, you lose some lol.
What counters priest is a too generic question, there are different builds and not all of them are countered by the same class. Overall miracle rogue, ramp druid and Handlock give me a lot of trouble.
This.
"Priest" is pretty general, because there are several different ways to build a priest. You can be combo-driven (relying on things like Auchenai/Injured Blademaster + CoH), Inner Fire focused, Watcher/Anti Aggro, Shadow Priest/Burn Focused, Tempo, etc. Each of these has different strengths and weaknesses.
In my experience though the #1 "hard counter" to almost all priest decks is often RNG. For example, you can make a great Anti-Aggro priest deck focused on wrecking Zoo - but if you don't get your early removal / board clears fast enough you will lose. If you do, you will destroy them. Same with Miracle Rogues. If you get your Auchenai + CoH by the time he throws down his Auctioneer/Conceal you can often ruin their day - but if you don't, they just wreck you. And there in lies one of the biggest issues with the priest class - it tends to be far less consistent then other classes.

I'm currently sitting here typing up a guide for my new priest deck, Looking at my win rates using Hearthstone Tracker.
I honestly can't see a Hard Counter- Maybe due to not running into them very often.
Any Suggestions on Hard Counters?

I've been struggling with control warriors, which seem to have a counter for any play and then win the fatigue war.
Also druids with a large number of 4 attack minions (midrange druids?). Hi Azure drakes, yetis and druids of the claw...

i would go with stuff with 4 power....

I got very good results against Priest with Mage midrange and Shaman control.
