Hey all, I know this might seem to some of you guys as a "cancer" thread because most people dislike the secret paladin deck that is running around, saying that it can be mostly easy to play and over-powered!
However on my end, I believe that Mysterious Challenger is really a good thing for the class.
What paladin previously lacked was burst finisher and card draw. Mysterious Challenger fixed both these issues in a really original way, while at the same time making the secrets a viable option, since now drawing them in the end game is not an issue anymore!
I, being a mediocre Hearthstone player, playing Paladin since early beta am stoked with the idea of having Paladin as a tier 1 deck, and would love it to be able to participate in the creation of the "optimal" list.
I have found most of my success with a Midrange list which I posted in the link.
Sadly I have plateaued at rank 6 and am looking to push to legend with secret Paladin.
I'd like it if this thread could speak about good builds, mulligans good bad math-ups or techs depending on the meta, in order to improve the deck.
And please for the trolls or people that talk crap about this deck please don't post just fro trolling or complaining, I'd like to keep it postive!
I don't like secret paladin, is very strong in my opinion, but it's a good deck, mysterious challenger would have to be 5/5 because it's very strong for its effect and all combine, defensor + revenge etc. And divine favour is very strong too, when i play as rogue i hate to get aggro paladin, because aggro never has a lot of cards in hand and rogue does. So everytime i get a secret paladin with divine favour, he draws like 4-6 cards.
And would be nice for your deck too to include it or cult master.
Yeah, Mysterious Challenger is definitively a powerhouse card, 6/6 with it's battlecry is just insane!
And about the Cult Master, I think that it's issues are:
1) Bad body. 4/2 trades super badly
2) His own death does not trigger the card draw. You need to already have an established board in order to start sacking your stuff.
In Mysterious Challenger deck you either want to control the board with divine shield minions, and stuff like that and in the mid late game you want to switch gears and go face with your Mysterious Challenger and your buffed cards. I don't think it is the best home for Cult Master. Token pally or even maybe the midrange version with Murloc Knight could be a home for Cult Master

Nice! I'll have to try the list, but can you tell me this:
Do you keep all 1-2 drops in your starting hand?
Do you keep Muster for Battle starting hand?
How do you handle HandLock?
How do you handle early priest, Northshire Cleric, Wyrmrest Agent and Twilight Guardian ?Do you try to deny the Northshire Cleric draws?
