However i think it would take a very heavy control deck to run both Chrom and Ysera, while any deck that has to choose only one would be better off with the green aspect.

That's still very situational given that you want to use those cards earlier on in most cases (except for maybe life tap, but again, you can draw every turn anyway).

I didn't say they can all do it consistently, i said it can happen even without running sub-par cards, or hoping your acolyte stays alive.

Right, and I wasn't saying that there aren't good 2 mana cards/hero power to combo with it on turn 10. I just said it's very situational. You responded mentioning those turn 10 combos, and I responded back. It's very situational either way for a card you're putting 8 mana into.
Im having alot of success with Chromaggus, maybe it doesn't work for everyone because of the deck style, but for me he is going to be a mainstay in my paladin deck and possibly will be used in my warlock deck as well. it's not that hard to make this card work for less than the mana required for it.

$2700+ spend on the "Free" Hearthstone game... How do I explain this to the wife?
Whenever I get to 8 mana with Chrom in hand, I can't help but need to cast other stuff to not die. And when I do drop him I never feel like he were irreplaceable by other end game punchers
heres the thing, if the opponent can't kill Chromaggus before he draws you an extra card, they basically lose. the value is insane. once i had chroma's draw me into shield block, which then gave me another 2 free cards. i won, ofc

Ive had chromaggus double draw me. tirion, sylvanas, sludge, velens. etc.
chromaggus is terrible in paladin deck. Many card you dont want a copy.
Yes, it would be awful to copy a Tirion, Sludge Belcher, Truesilver Champion, Aldor Champion, Quartermaster or the like.
Jesus Christ...even if they don't get played, how is having another copy a bad thing??? How is having extra options ever a bad thing???
It is when the opportunity cost of having an extra copy that never gets played is having to cut another legendary for Chromaggus that could help you more.

His conjecture wasn't the opportunity cost of putting Chromaggus in for another card. His statement was "Many card you dont want a copy."
Yours was "how is having extra options ever a bad thing?" though. And no matter the context, you will always cut one card for chromaggus, so my point is kind of valid.
I agree that if you construct a scenario where you HAVE TO play chromaggus in your deck, then having extra cards is never really a bad thing (unless you burn some of your cards because you cannot play the copies quickly enough, but that's really rare), it's at worst irrelevant but can potentially be awesome.

Chromaggus made me realize how strong is lay on hands. Good vs most match-up but priest, Chromaggus isn't good vs aggro.
You basically don't want any spells or weak minion from the copy, pointless. 6/8 body+dragon tag vs 3 draw + 8 healing in 1 turn.
Preference maybe but I don't see any game but priest where Lay on hands isn't better(Im using two), he is only useful for the dragon tag or combo with dragon consort(earlier the better chance to keep the dragon alive)
Playing control heavy, work like a charm, farming hunter feel good. Paladin4life(in hs)
There are classes that can draw off Chromaggus + spell without adding sub-par cards to their deck.
Priests can do it with Power Word: Shield, Druids can do it with Wild Growth and Wrath, rogues with Shiv (although i doubt rogues need more draw) warlocks with Life Tap and maybe warriors with Slam or Battle Rage.

Chromaggus is a fine card, the problem is card draw isn't very important in Hearthstone overall. Only tempo and board advantage really matter

pssst don't say that out loud. To many people go that route already ;)

Piloted Shredder, Knife Juggler, Mad Scientist, Dr. Boom
Need to be removed from this game
I believe in the value now!
With this deck I manage easy 4 cards to replenish my hand on Chromaggus turn, specially if he is ramped.

Too easy to deal with.
