Hey Nuba, how's running only 1 quartermaster doing for you?
Its decent enough. I mean sometimes it gets stuck on the hand without me being able to play it, but usually I have plenty other plays to do before I can get 2 or more 1/1s on the board, its a strong card since it wins games if you can put it on play with 3+ knights that can attack, but since that wont happen most of the times, a 1-of is more than enough
Would you recommend climbing the ladder with this deck?
Control pally has always seemed to be the most time consuming of all other decks
its very strong to climb the ladder, its the deck I got legend with and the winrate was just too high, because:
1) it counters, directly, warrior control, which is the most played deck currently.
2) few people know how to play against paladins.
I like the deck but i don't like the jugglers, they do nothing but die (for me). You think Seal of Light + Humility can replace them? Currently rank 5, so happy i can finally win games with paladin, as it's my highest level class (59 today!).

even if they die early in the game, its still good because it aliviates pressure and 1-for-1s, which is good. whenver it doesnt die, however, its just too good to be replaced.
I can make a video of playing this later. I made a few changes though. First was harrison because I don't have him so I replaced him with an ooze. 2nd one I did was took out 1 zombie chow and replaced it with 1 enhance-o. The reason was I usually either only drew and played one, or it would end up a dead card at times depending on the situation in the late game. With the amount of creatures you can get on the board makes enhance-o worth it to protect them and yourself. Even on a muster or the round after it can have a big impact on whether you lose or win.
I am at rank 9 and 5 star keep teetering between 8-9 because of some mistakes on my part. But this deck is solid and it is pretty fun. Juggler + muster and/or dr boom is sooo much fun. I had deck kind of similar but not quite, After playing this it helped me realize so of the cards I didn't need in my own. Anyways enough babbling and thank you nuba for sharing this!
Edit: Sorry forgot to mention about card draw. I have even less draw with no harrison and I can say I rarely have a problem with draw at all. If your being careful and making thought out plays you should be ok.
Grats! Still loving Dr. Boom I assume? (poetry intended)
I still have that 1600 dust burning a hole in my comp. Someone (you maybe?) rec'd I hold off crafting "to see what the meta is going to look like" but I have a hard time believing that I'd regret crafting the Boomster. Would you agree/should I go ahead and pull the trigger? Thanks.
Go ahead and craft it, its very good.
I did and no complaints/no buyer's remorse, his is as advertised, thanks for the rec.
I rolled from 19->14 with a +.500 WP against all classes (was lucky I didn't face a single lock) but now at 14 I've hit a wall/a plague of locks (5 locks in a row). 1-1 vs. hand-lock, but I've gone 0-3 vs. the new GvG zoo. Zoo is just too damn fast, if the RNG doesn't give me consecrate it's starting to feel like I should just auto-concede. Any tips/strats for combating locks?
Zombie Chow and Minibot are your best possible cards; mulligan even Consecration if you don't have one of those.
Against Zoo staying alive is more important than accruing value since late game you'll be drawing real cards while they draw 1 and 2 drops, so don't be afraid to just spew whatever you have onto the board to slow them down even if it's suboptimal value for that card (eg. playing Juggler into a Flame Imp or Aldor-ing a Harvest Golem if those are your only plays). You'll make those cards back when your 4 and 5 drops 2- or 3-for-1 them.

Thanks for the advice, especially the mull consecrate for ZC or SMB, never would have considered that.

My comments refer mostly to the wild format.

I can vouch, went 10-2 on ranked (mid-teens) over the weekend, including 4-1 vs. warrior (4-0 vs. WC, my 1 loss was to agro-war-bot-mech).
Also, went 2-0 vs priest, which made me even happier than beating warriors.
Anyone have any vods of them playing this deck?
