It's not about wether the balance is different in legend than it is in Gold or lower.
It's that most players in lower ranks don't adjust their decks and choices as fast as those in higher ranks for various reasons (available playtime for example). Sooner or later metagame trends affect the lower ranks as well. Therefore if the players at the higher ranks have built stronger decks that don't have a problem with Paladins, people at lower ranks will eventually follow. Soon we will be getting threads about Rush Warrior instead.
Most paladin decks are just stupid at the moment. I played skulking geist in round 3 with shaman and it removed 9 one cost cards. Paladin decks are literally full of little shit cards.
I don’t know what winrate Pally got in so called hi legend. Actually i don’t care. Hearthstone is not for few hundreds of pro players. It’s for millions. And those millions don’t like when every second game is against OP deck with over 60 percent winrate. It’s complete rubbish. So the question is not if Pally too strong but WHEN they nerf it! Or give us option to BAN one class you don’t want to play against. At least for Legend players.
That's not the point. The point is that it's not actually that OP if you make your own deck and play around their shit. It's OP if you're a scrub netdecker who doesn't know how to pilot their deck properly.

On that note, I really wish Skulking Geist was in Standard :(

That partially true. When I climb to legend I use current OP deck or counter to it. Like rush warrior for secret pally or something. But when I hit legend personally I want to relax and play variety of tier 2-3-4-5 decks but it’s still pally every second game. And usually u lose game after game. So it’s not only about winning it’s about versatility. Let people in legend play only vs legend. Or add option to ban one class. Or balance game more often please.
Are you seriously complaining about a dead class you meet every 20 games !? (if it were op, they would all play Paladin, as it was before the libram nerf and mage) Hsreplay rank is completely broken, it is evident that you are new or have long time disconnected with this game, as rather than a nerf currently paladin class is more likely to see a buff ... Because currently it's the worst class along together to shaman) stop letting yourself be swayed by useless and completely broken stats like hsreplay, think after nerfing it, on hsreplay the paladin win percentage stats is increased... very ridiculous...XD (this should be enough as proof, would be enough to close it here with this question, since without a pen he lost his top-tier deck,"libram"), actually the best decks in currently in meta are priest, warlok and hunter ... (in a nutshell the opposite of hsreplay stats) So go further guys, learn the game better (especially for analyzing) and you will see that Paladin is easy to beat (if you currently lose versus him I can imagine you against other classes )
The libram package has been broken since Ashes first patch, but Blizzard doesn't really seem to care so I doubt we're going to see any changes to it.
Mostly because it's pretty fair, it's not creating a massive swing turn where you win the game outright, you're just putting lots of stats onto the board that your opponent will find extremely difficult to deal with, often for a very low mana cost. But that requires some investment.
I think particularly Libram of Hope is just kinda busted, but I still doubt they'll do anything about it.
Libram paladin no longer exists (did you miss something?) they nerfed pen ... (learn to play instead of complaining about a literally dead class, without draw or discover, and without broken automatic winning play card's like tickatus, illucia, refreshing spring water, secret passage, and with these I could go on for much longer... (the only strong interaction the paladin had was pen and 0 mana libram, I don't see the problem after pen nerf....)
Ye,another critic often leveled against librams is that they cheat mana ...(but this is ridiculus, especially in this meta and in that paladin deck
I just see a lot of hypocrisy in this toxic community, saying that librams cheat mana when the deck is not versatile but exclusively dedicated to librams, also out there the priest discovers and discount all his spells filling his hands, the rogue still does better with 1/4, the mage discounts all his spells by 2 mana and recharges the mana by drawing (free yourself from the influencers and think with your brain, because this is the power level of hs today...) and, when you judge a deck or a card you must also take into consideration the class or archetype where it is played...
So, actually Paladin not having nothing exceptionally strong, he struggles to stay in the meta (that's why he disappeared...)
Paladin is not a dead class. You're wrong. I'm literally climbing the ladder *easily* with a pure libram paladin deck. And Libram of Hope has ALWAYS been a *very* *very* strong card.
And Libram Paladin is still strong. Being able to play on curve while getting discounts is different than taking a tempo loss to get some long-term cost reductions.
So, actually Paladin not having nothing exceptionally strong, he struggles to stay in the meta (that's why he disappeared...)
Are we.... are we playing the same game? I would honestly love to be playing the Hearthstone you're playing, because 7 out of every 10 matches I play are against Paladin.

I decided not to engage with that comment because it is: a) Outright trolling
Yes, Paladin is obscene right now. ZERO weaknesses. They have:
Super cheap powerful secrets
Tons of healing
Great card draw and generation
Weapons
Seemingly removal right when they need it
Easy ways to buff their minions
Every possible answer to everything you do.
The class needs massive nerfing. Libram of hope should heal for 4 and make a 4/4 body with NO divine shield. Hand of Addai should cost 3 or 4. probably lots more. I get why its played so much though - its MORON proof and requires no skill or thought. The 8 year olds can with it without even trying.
Paladin is OK, there are many counters, leave him alone.
There are like two reliable counters to paladin and it beats everything else. Paladin has had the best cards in the game since Scholomance, enough already.

Like what? What game are YOU playing? Zero weaknesses. Zero counters. Nothing you do works. Nothing. They can clear boards, heal for 20++ each game, buff the crap out of minions for little cost, they have crazy secrets, great card draw, awesome card generation, etc, etc.
And , its yet another EXTREMELY low skill floor class/deck. You cant screw it up. It wins for you.

I can't comprehend this.
Ye, just trolling or talking about your experience at rank 10 bronze, in both cases there is nothing else here...

I'll answer you with one word. Yes
Paladin is OK, there are many counters, leave him alone.
Dead but dreaming
There are like two reliable counters to paladin and it beats everything else. Paladin has had the best cards in the game since Scholomance, enough already.
1 mana Counterspell, tons of low curve minions, lots of draw, and buffs for those minions. The first 4 mana win the game and Pally has that in spades.
Like what? What game are YOU playing? Zero weaknesses. Zero counters. Nothing you do works. Nothing. They can clear boards, heal for 20++ each game, buff the crap out of minions for little cost, they have crazy secrets, great card draw, awesome card generation, etc, etc.

innocent trolling for sure... let their comment die here, and breeze past this thing
