I'm looking for a strong control deck that works in the meta. I have seen and tried plenty of control decks with flavor choices ranging from double Acidic Ooze to Blessing of Wisdom to Mind Control Tech...
What are Paladins actually good against? I seem to lose versus Priest, Hunter, Zoo, Handlock, Druid. Is our only MU Control Warrior (which can still go south very quickly)? Maybe I'm doing it wrong by playing tempo and midrange decks trying to shore up our weaknesses, when I should be trying to buff up the things we are actually good at - and it's depressing to run one of those decks and run into another Paladin Control that destroys it.
Someone, anyone, share me a control deck you've used or made that works in the current meta. I know some slower decks are only good from Rank 5 - Legend, and though I'd like to see those, I'd really like one for general ladder climbing.
Someone help me. I'm trying really hard to put my faith in the Light.
Control Paladin was really good, especially kolento's version....until Naxx. Now our board clears are less effective with all the deathrattles, and unless we get lucky and draw an owl early, we have no other way to deal with undertaker before it gets out of control, meanwhile the other control decks can deal with it much more effectively. Even against other control decks, pally is no longer as good as it used to be since the other classes got boosted with good Naxx class cards, but pally got a card that really only works in aggro or possibly midrange, yet is weak vs. hunter because of flare.
Hoepfully GvG brings pally back to being a contender...and not just aggro decks.
This is my Paladin deck that I've been using on ladder when I get sick of playing Priest and Hunter. It does okay in current meta provided you can actually get the Equality & Pyro/Consecrate combos when you need them. :\
I did have 2 Shades of Naxx, but I decided to swap 1 out for an Unstable Ghoul to see if that improve win rates against aggro, and it has. I'm hesitant to take out the second shade for a second Ghoul, just because it's great in non-aggro matchups, and Warrior can use the Ghoul against you by strategically dropping their armorsmiths before killing off the Ghoul. The two Kodos, in my opinion, work great. I know many only run 1. But it's just so great for taking out Northshire Cleric, Undertaker (after setting attack to 1 via aldor or humility), Armorsmiths, and Acolytes.
So, maybe give it a shot and see how it works for you. I'd love to hear your feedback about it.

Control Paladin is not the deck to use for general ladder climbing. It's the worst at it right now.
Even if you find a control deck that someone made work, it would have gone through changes every 10-20 games to adjust to whatever it was running into most. That's how it is right now. Almost every match-up being very poor. Even Handlock, AKA Paladin's Bitch is more or less 50-50 now based on what your deck is currently countering.
Ever since Naxx, every class got stronger and flexible. Paladin got nothing. Nothing that synergy's uniquely with it anyways.
Take Loatheb for example. Both druid and pally can use it as a counter to turn 5 Gadgetzan Auctioneer + Conceal. Cool. But druid can drop this one turn 8 with maybe a Harvest Golem/Shade of Naxxramas. BAM, shutdown most AoE and removal, and WOMBO them next turn for easy win. Loatheb doesn't do much but stall a turn for control paladin.
How about Zombie Chow? Priest and Paladin throw it turn one to stop aggro. Then next game you draw it turn 7. Ha! Priest combos it with Auchenai Soul Priest for 5 dmg to face! Paladin? You drop it in hopes it will do more then just die and heal opponent for 5. Maybe not drop it at all because it be stupid given the board.
Unless you are a dedicated and very good Paladin player WITH a strong/necessary collection. You won't hit Legend with Paladin. Just getting past rank 10 is an accomplishment. It's not worth the effort. GvG hitting soon though. Hopefully in 1-2 weeks. Look forward to a less depressing Paladin meta.
Thanks for all the input, guys. I'll be trying some of these decks, and I appreciate all the advice.
Edit: I was so pumped when Dog brought out Paladin at Dreamhack, and then lost Turn 7 to a Miracle Druid who only played like 4 minions the whole game, and managed to get Savage Roars in hand. Just sad.

Before Naxx Pally was my goto deck against Hunter, but Deathrattle changed all that.
Still does OK against Handlock, and if you tech in some heals can beat pretty much any Mage deck.
