Yo! ive been playing HS for the past 4 year, and have been a dedicated paladin player for 2 years, i just love the class, and i just wanted to get everyones thought/feelings on the current state of the mighty paladin.
As for me, im not sure how i feel about the current pally. i belive it has some great new tools, like subde, and does well in the current arena. i also got 10 wins my fist brawl drring this brawlisim, with Quest. i was proud of that lol. the deck i used is below. i look forward to hear what you have to say.
Mech paladin is still great against the fun police (Warriors). Micro Mummy is the only card from the new set you realistically need to add to the deck although Subdue is also excellent
Murloc Paladin is still doing well, Quest Paladin beats Control Warrior but is bad against everything else, Mech Paladin is basically the same but more boring, Duel Paladin is a meme, OTK Paladin isn't fairing well currently, and Highlander Paladin doesn't seem to exist.
Paladin is OK. It doesn't have a great classic set, but it did get some playable decks.
Tbh its a strong class. This Murloc, Magnetic, and Reborn shit is annoying. I can handle Murlocs easily with what I play but when they start putting shit together thats when I get screwed. I could easily tech against that but I focus my gameplay style elsewhere. I usually sigh when I see Paladin.
It's incredible but paladin decks are quite good. Blizzard didn't give any new tools to improve RoS archetypes but the few cards we got from SoU work very well. (secret, dragon, otk, etc) Paladin class is like put 25 shitty cards in the deck and add 5 synergistic cards and boom magic, you have a tier 1 deck.
Murloc paladin = 2 lenses 2 TTS Zephrys Nomi and 24 shitty neutral murlocs. haha Quest paladin = 1 quest 2 eggs 2 whelps 2 crystology 23 shitty neutral reborn cards There are like 5 class cards in any paladin decks, that's lame.
When you compare with mage, warrior or hunter where all the 30 cards are insane, i don't understand how paladin can keep up with them.
I think (I could be wrong) that the feeling at Blizzard is that paladin has the strongest hero power. So, often, our class cards are underwhelming. This seems to especially be the case with DoD. Most classes got INSANE cards. Paladin got a steaming hot cup of jack squat.
Paladin has always been the class I've played the most. And I'll make something work this expansion like I always do (or someone smarter than me will come up with an inventive deck). But it may be time for me to develop a SECOND favorite class.

I wish you... Doom!
I think one Paladin deck or another will find its footing soon and be pretty viable. Maybe not a front runner, but an alright deck.

Duel! Paladin and Murloc Nomi Paladin and maybe Highlander Paladin could be good

I've found that 1-cost paladin is actually extremely strong. I'm surprised I haven't run into others playing it on ladder.
Murloc pally is running Zephrys the Great that's fun.
Murloc Paladin seems very strong to me right now. I've been having success climbing with it and also had an 11-win Brawliseum run.

There are three very different Paladin archetypes with above-average win rates right now.
Yeah, Paladin is in a good place.
