I'm trying to get dragon paladin to work and thought maybe adding some mech backbone with Kangor's Army would help what do you guys think would help this deck work in a ranked setting? (I think its struggling against aggro its ok against control and warrior usually)
I just wanted to use the legendaries in a fun way but yeah I could probably cut countess ashmore drawing kind of stunts the control vs warrior anyway any suggestions on what I should replace it with?
it’s a tier three deck. Don’t expect a win rate higher than 50% and the only place you’ll find a deck any higher is in wild. Don’t waste your time with it if you hope to have success, you’ll only be dissapointed.
A lot of good cards together won't necessarily make a good deck: you run the Dragon package (without Scaleworm which is one of the best cards), the Healing package and the Mech package. Despite the title you gave yo your deck, you seem to be very confused about what to do.
Your deck needs to be less all over the place. These are all a bunch of cards with limited synergies. You'll often get a hand where you can't play half the cards because you either don't have a Dragon, there are no good Mechs to rez or the cards just don't do enough on their own.
You can cut Kangor's and the Hecklebot. You don't need Ashmore either, draw is something you don't want a lot of in a control deck or fatigue will ruin your day. Flash of Light can go as well.
Lightforged Blessing is alright, you can combine it with some of your minions to give you some sustain, which we want. With the room you have available you can put in stuff like Scaleworm, Equality and weapon removal. Nightmare Amalgam isn't bad but there are usually better cards unless you need the tribe synergy and Dragon Paladin has enough Dragons in it. Proud Defender could be a decent replacement. I have Alexstrasza myself and she has been useful plenty of times to be worth putting into the deck. It can also give you something of a win condition by suddenly lowering the opponent's health to 15 and then going face.
That said, I've tried the deck myself and it just lacks punch. The lack of good 1 drops for this type of deck also hurts. It just has no real way of making a big swing like Dragon Mage can with their summoning mechanics.
I mostly used it to res zilliax and some taunts to survive it works for an ok play basically 7 mana zilliax and hecklebot (maybe nightmare amalgum)
Well if you want to use Kangor's Endless Army in this way (a pretty bad way, given that Hecklebot is a double edged blade if you don't have big removals and that you're not abusing said spell's effect as you should be doing), then Nightmare Amalgam weakens your summoning pool by a lot since it's just a 3/4 without taunt if you can't magnetize it with something else.
Dragon paladin works, it has all the mechanics, it has enough dragons and given the chance I've been able to buff at least two or three dragons with +3/+3. Drago Paladin is working as intended, it is just not strong enough to compete with T1 and T2 decks. It is not like other instances where dragon paladin didn't even had cards to play.
The only problem dragon paladin has is how bad hearthstone devs are at judging the powerlevel of the cards they make. But that is a problem for every T3 deck and below.

My suggestions? Cut all the Mech-related cards except Zilliax, cut Lightforged Blessing, add two Scaleworms, Shirvallah, the Tiger, at least one Time Out!, another Flash of Light and another Shrink Ray.
I don't know if you'll still be at 30 cards, but it will certainly help to define better what you want to do
cmon Kangor Army?

Wow this is so far from "trying to make something work" I ever seen
Give this a try. Your deck is too much into "I do everything" stuff.
