Ok, Paladin is one of the last classes I need to get to Golden. Problem is that I cannot stand playing a lot of popular Paladin decks. I have my Odd Paladin(aka Cancer and we all know it), but that is just for laddering and I am honestly sick of playing it.
All of my other Pally decks that I craft myself just get eaten alive because I am missing a few cards that would make the deck work just a little bit better.
So here is my question... I love control and combo decks so I am stuck at this point of which card I should craft first(because ultimately I will craft both): Shirvallah, the Tiger or Tirion Fordring.
I want Tirion because he fits in pretty much any non-odd Paladin deck. But the Shirvallah combo is just so appealing. Give me your advice everyone!
Bonus question: I cracked a Countess Ashmore and was about to dust her... but I am thinking that she will be useful somehow. Although the current meta points in the other direction. Thoughts?
i think shirvallah would be a lot more useful than tirion, mainly because tirion is good just about any deck you would be playing, but he is not essential in any, you could replace him with many other efficient taunt cards *cough* stonehill defender *cough*.
also for that amazing shirvallah combo deck.

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
I've been running a divine shield sustain paladin deck with the OTK shirvallah thrown in as a backup plan. has been pretty fun if your looking for something different. If you want a link let me know.
Between the two, I'd craft Shirvallah, the Tiger first. She is useful for non-combo decks as well, provided you go for enough heals/buffs. I like running her alongside Zilliax and a pair of Corpsetaker in a heal/buff hybrid deck.
And I'd hang onto the Countess until the rotation at least.

I haven't been running Tirion in ages because Ashbringer overlaps with DK weapon and You mostly want to drop both of them on curve.
