It is so fair, that it does not need to run charge minions.
Give it a rest. You are just flat wrong that Odd paladin is any stronger than any other good deck. It's not. And many of the other strong decks are countering it effectively. Give it a rest and have the decency to admit when you are just plain wrong.
Odd paladin is very strong, it has a 50%+ win-rate against every Rogue, Mage, Shaman, Paladin and Hunter deck so far. That's 5 whole classes out of 9. No deck should be that good, the best way to nerf it would be to nerf Level Up! to 6 mana.

I'd have to disagree with your statement, among these five classes I can name at least two decks that I'm willing to bet have favorable matchups vs Odd Paladin, namely Odd Mage and Kingsbane Rogue. I also think that Even Shaman, Deathrattle Hunter, Secret Hunter, Pirate Rogue, and Odd Rogue can put up a decent fight against Odd Paladin, that is to say that even if the matchup isn't favorable for them, it is also not that significantly below 50% win rate.
Also, on a different note, 5 classes not having decks that counter a particular tier 1 deck in HS is not a first-time ever and including the class that the deck comes from makes no sense, after all a mirror is a 50-50, so not 50%+. Finally 50%+ is an interval which frankly includes 51% and well, that's not an overly one-sided matchup, is it?
After thought, in regard to Paladin class, I reckon Horsemen Paladin has a good chance of beating Odd too. Just a guess though. Heck, do I wanna give that deck a try.

According to hsreplay, Odd paladin beats kingsbane rogue about 74.5% of the time. Odd mage is a little more balanced out but odd paladin is slightly more favoured with 53.3% win-rate against odd mage. Here are the stats if you would like to browse it. https://hsreplay.net/archetypes/216/odd-paladin#tab=matchups
Sure, 51% isn't a major amount but it does still seem that one deck is favorable against the other, even if it is very slight.
Apparently the horsemen deck performs badly, with odd paladin boasting a 61.3% win-rate against it.
Make hero power summon a 2/2? Is the only thing I can think of to nerf odd paladin. The thing is is takes 2 attacks to deal with odd paladin's hero power, along with whatever else they play it can take even more attacks or spells to deal with. To get that much value constantly and for free is why it's so oppressive. A 2/2 is the "same" as the 2 1/1s but obviously only requires 1 attack to deal with. Other than something like that I don't know how they nerf it. They'll probably choose the nerf it by ignoring it/wait for rotation/releasing cards good against it route, as they usually do.
A fair nerf would be to make it just summon 1 Recruit with perhaps Divine Shield & Taunt. Rather than 2 Recruits every time.
That would perhaps be even worse/more polarizing...Not only would it still take 2 attacks to deal with, it would also protect your hero, not to mention the insane value you might get via divine shield...

Thanks for the stats, though tbph I'm not quite sure as to how much I trust hsreplay. Still, I think you will see this change, even as reflected in hsreplay data, once the meta settles.
The thing about odd paladin is that it is a top tier deck that most decks can beat fairly often. When playing against it, you always know you can win if you draw well. It benefits from being super consistent and from taking much longer to run out of steam than most agro decks. I think it is the kind of deck you want to be top tier.
Also, if odd paladin dominates the meta, warrior and warlock decks can counter it fairly easily.
People who want odd paladin to disappear should think about what will likely replace it (Kingsbane rogue)

nothing, it's a fair aggro deck tbh (it doesn't stack charge minions)

It doesn't need nerfed, this thread is poppycock.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
No nerf is necessary. Odd Paly takes losses just like the rest of of the top decks.

Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.

Divine shield is certainly not the route to go for, let me remind you of a little boi named Blood Knight

in pro tournament, paladin is not much use compare to druid and other class
so it means that oddladin is not stable and not 'cancer' enough compare to druid, control warlock etc.
i play oddladin, and there are a lot of counters to the deck
this thread is just some control players complain about aggro players, that's all
I was in charge!! - Patches the Pirate
For a deck that isn't stable, its certainly held its spot for the highest win-rate deck for a very long time.
make all odd pally cards cost 11 mana :)

They nerfed Raza when Raza was nowhere as strong as half of the mongo decks that are out right now.
Vinecleaver needs to cost 6 or 8 and level up needs to cost 6
Fungalmancer also needs to cost more which is a needed nerf to a few decks.
Savage Roar and Soul of the Forest also need a nerf.
I don't want Odd Paladin to go simply because I don't want Kingsbane Rogue and Deathrattle/Spell Huntards all over the place.
