I have created and tried a unique off meta mech paladin deck, with unique synergies within itself.
The deck is different from the same old “odd mech paladin” or even “mech paladins” online. A few distinguishing features are:
1. crystology - this allows me to draw stone hill defenders or bronze gatekeepers, which helps to thin the deck faster since the deck doesn’t have draw mechanism. Also both drawn cards are absolutely useful against Agro decks, if you draw the said cards in the early stages. As far as I’m aware (I searched many mech paladin decks), all the other mech paladin decks don’t carry this card.
2. Equality or shrink ray + consecration - this allows me to clear the overwhelming control and mid range minions , to survive long enough to get to my magnetic combo pieces
3. Howling commander - draw + get a useful divine shield card (zillax or Annoy-o-module) . Again it helps against Agro and also thinning of the deck. Drawing the said cards also help with mid games because the divine shield cards in this deck are also magnetic! The said cards are so versatile and useful for both early and mid games.
After forming the deck, the idea is simple: play on curve, do value trades and zillax or other taunts against Agro. Use canivorous cube and fungalmancer to present sudden board problems to the opponent.
The deck has done pretty well against mech paladins, death rattle hunters, Aggro warlock and rogue. It struggles against resurrect priest and odd paladin.
i do not have kangor endless army so it is not present at the moment in this deck. Do let me have your views on this deck please!
your deck might be a bit clunky. I would replace wargears and witchwood grizzly for cheaper cards (1-3 mana). You are very 4+ heavy. The mechanical whelps are serious threats but you might die before they can do their job.
Thanks, I do have this issue at times about the clunky part. I have amended the deck to make it more nimble and removed 1 mechanical whelp, replacing it with sword of justice to, in effect, play out stronger minions faster. I have also replaced grizzly with tar creeper since it is about the same on average as a grizzly (and with 2 mana saved from using tar creeper instead of grizzly, I can play 1 more soldier).
i see you also have crystology, which I believe is used with your prismatic lens. Whereas for me I’m using it primarily for draw purposes. Guess we’re using it for different purposes though, haha.
Do you use your deck to rush through and win by turn 12 usually?
My deck wins at diffrent moments. It als depends which way i draw and how the defence of my oponent is. It usualy outvalues. It can´t fagitue. it draws empty noticeable fast but magnetic, eggs and kanogor overhelm. there is a lot of fetching (2x crystology, 2x Howling, 2xlense [fetching kangor or crystology] and meat waggon). Uther is not needed, but it can be a lifesaver/finisher. Sometimes you just need to heal...
One of the main diffrences is the mana curve. I peak at 3 and don´t have so much 5+. As said i miss the consecrates, but they would ruin deck synergies and a reliable Kangors wins a lot. I stopped refining the deck and it definitly needs something to defend against heavy board centric decks. I can block and trade off a lot but there is no savety net if that fails. In adition, Tarim is so strong that the winrate will suffer without him.
What i like it that it´s unique. It surprises and the scorpions can ruin a lot :-). A second Void ripper als fits very well if you need to replace something.
I did go back to double void ripper and added one consecrate, which does not disturb the mechanic much but provides a good joker. Solid at rank 9 at the moment. Taunt druid is still a nemesis and i lost to an evenlock due to double spellbreaker but slayed a good number of aggro and diffrent hunters plus evenlock too. It actually comes down to things like double silence or classic early rexar. And be clear that this is a midrange value deck. You loose 99% fagitue matches so don´t try. Same for OTK matchups. Bring out huge threats T6-10 and kill them. If kangor doesn´t finish it, they just OTK you. I fought control warrior yesterday eavening and won it. I did draw my whole library but he ran out of control after i silenced his Dihorn hatchlig with only my Ozze left in my hand :-). He tried hard but even his double brawl, one clearing my 4 while his 1 survived, was not enough.

I also made my own version. sometimes i struggle if the oposing board gets to large lacking mass clears but the deck itself has huge synergies.
