Really glad I made it from rank 5 and up with this. I managed a 58% win rate, the climb from 5 to legend took a week of 2-3 hours of playing. Best matchup is anything rogue, worst matchup is Warlock but I'd put it at 50%, so it's not tragic.
The idea is to build a sticky board early, check your luck for a good Unidentified Maul, or a good Fungalmancer and continue the pressure, and if you get stopped, refill with Call to Arms and Divine favor. Your mulligans are easy, but you should always go for a good hand, since this is tempo based and failing to create an initial inertia, it will mean that you are losing decisively.
Remember that Secretkeeper gets the buff from both players Secrets, so search for it against Hunters and ride her to victory. The deck plays like a typical aggro paladin with a twist that makes it different from Odd Paladin. It runs Consecration and slower cards, but it also features more solid boards and Call to arms.
You'll see that with the amount of card fetching in this, by turn 5 you won't be having any 1 cost cards left. So, if you Liam instead, you are making C2A and Bellringer worse. Not worth it for a very random card, imho.

this deck seems promising! Gets an upvote from me :) Nice job, OP!
Nothing will ever replace good old Mysterious challenger but you know what, I like the innovation so I'll give it a try. Well done for making it to legend :)

It's almost as if Team 5 looked at MC and thought 'oh fuck' how do we balance this? :D
I wonder if bellringer can work in wild I'll give it a shot and let you know what comes up! ^^

It's a shame that it doesn't work with Secretkeeper though. Although he is amazing for his cost. It's a fish for 2 cards, 3/4 at 4 that creates a board that needs solving if you are leading. Not bad for 4 cost.
Edit: Also, it would help if the new Paladin secret didn't suck.

I'd say The Lich King is better than Tirion Fordring since it allows for more varied play with a guaranteed lich king card and an 8/8 body even when silenced while as Tirion Fordring just becomes a 6/6 without a sword.
That's a point that deserves some discussion. Initially, i didn't run Tirion or Lich king. I had Vinecleaver in their place, just because the damage potential was too high, and we had a minor board creation every turn.
With the amount of card thinning/card draw in this, you will find yourself drawing a lot AFTER you have thinned your deck, so you need to draw something that is able to help you close the game OR reset your threats. Vinecleaver did fine, but it had no synergy with the secrets/Hydrologist, so I needed a minion. Any divine shield minion is double trouble with Redemption, so the natural choice was Tirion. However, he was underwhelming, and i noticed that he didn't have a big impact in games that I wasn't winning decisively. The Lich king was better, because it added a card that could potentially threaten even after he is gone.
If Paladin had a more relevant DK to midrange (like Rexxar for instance) able to generate infinite value, then I'd go for it in the spot. Right now that one or two spots in the deck is better suited for cards that can drive your game on their own, so I went for Tarim and Lich king. Having said that, you can be innovative with this one or two slot and try stuff like Argent Commander, The Black Knight, Tinkermaster to battle Hardonox etc.
@ColinThePyro: Tarim helps a lot, call it buff, call it debuff, call it a 3/7 that plays as an emergency button against two giants, Tarim is the single Paladin card that I'd definitely use in every deck I played.
Small heads-up. Trying this at Legend (1200-780) ranks, which is identical to rank 3 up to early legend ranks as it seems, and swapped The Lich King for Bonemare. The horse is just better in this list, and I'd urge everyone trying this deck to use it.
Bonemare helps to generate instantly two threats, or buff a ready to attack minion to god-status, I've been enjoying it a lot but I don't think I need 2 in here because the focus needs to be set on the early game.
Also a quick tip: Although hunter is one of the great matchups of this, don't go wide unless you have a clue that you are not facing spell hunter that they usually run Hounds. If you see a Tar Creeper or Stitched orc then play all your hand and watch them charging dinosaurs to Noble Sacrifices.

No Prince Liam ?

Hhmm...I'll try this deck.
Thank you! Feel free to post me with results once you try it.

Haha. Poor Bellringer is nowhere near the monstrosity, but at least you don't get the same hate coming towards you.
I unfortunately cannot try it because I'm missing tons of cards for the deck but once I get them, I will try this deck out.

Do you think Sunkeeper Tarim is necessary to do well with this deck? Or could I replace him with something else?
Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
Which is better: Tirion or Lich King?
