I know that Control Paladin is currently in a bad shape, but I would like to build some Uther stuff.
There aren't any playable decks outhere, and yeah, for a reason. But let me know if you have any suggestions. Does Control Paladin have a win condition besides it's DK? Or should I let the idea go? I have the cards to create the deck, but I don't see any direction to build.
I play a control quest paladin. It's not good for climbing, but it's fun and it's better than most people automatically assume. I beat a spell hunter yesterday in fatigue because he couldn't dig out enough zombeasts with silence for my second Lynessa (it has like 15 attack, divine shield, deathrattles summoning two stegadons, etc...) and my 11 attack stealthed windfury galvadon. He also had to use removal every turn on my DK hero power tokens, because I was getting dangerously close to 4 of them. Lastly, I built my deck around healing, so I included two paragons.
If you want to try it out, it's attached in my signature. Suggestions on the build also welcome.
I always was a big Control / Midrange Paladin player, but let the idea go with this meta, we don't have powerful and "easely" achievable win conditions :(
Hi! Depends on what your goals are: if you want to climb, then I'd let the idea go. From my experience, current control paladin is too slow and with that end-game is not that strong: you won't be able to out-value real value control decks like the ones Jaina and Gul'dan are running now.
If you don't care about winrate though, go for it. Control Paladin is one of the most fun decks I've played in this meta. I'm running Alexstrasza in my list for extra pressure during end-game. Synergizes good with Uther DK and Tirion (6x5 damage attacks from weapon). Also Elise is a good addition for extra value. Gives you an option to Zola her if you feel that Lynessa is going to be useless (like in a matchup against some control priest with Mind Control).
Check out OldGuardian on YouTube, he has experimented a lot with the deck and his build is somewhat competitive.

Even it is not completely Control I have some good success (probably getting Legend on Sunday when I have time) with this weird Deck:
2 Equality, 2 Pyromancer, 2 Hydrololgist, 1 Plated Beetle, 2 Stonehill Defender, 2 Dragon Eggs, 1 Aldor, 1 Acloyte of Pain, 1 Tinkmaster
2 Truesilver, 2 Consecration, 2 Carnavous Cube, 1 Harry, 1 Tarim , 1 Avenging Wrath, 1 Spikeridged Steed, 2 Spiteful Summoner, 1 Tyrone , 1 Lay on Hands, 1 Dinosize, 1 Uther
This is the more stable build to date in WW
Proof of Legend, please?
