Pre-nerf I played Even Paladin to Legend. I have tried it again now, replacing Call To Arms with some ideas I had... the deck just isn't the same. I can't quite get it to "work". Has anyone else found an Even recipe that's good?
By contrast, with the decline of Cubelock, I have had a lot of success with Odd Paladin. I keep running to Even Shamans and Even Warlocks (?!) and it does very well.
Would love to hear other Paladin players' experiences...
Even paladin certainly took a hit. I've still got one with minor tweaks. I adjusted its curve a bit. I won all the games I played with it, but it doesn't blow games out like it used to.
Muy Odd paladin is unchanged. It's a strong deck if it can get into mid game with decent health and doesn't face warlock. Its mid-late game value is still scary and hard to deal with.
Murloc is just a tad less powerful due to the later drop of CTA but remains a nasty piece of work for anyone that can't blunt the murlocs before they get out of control. Unlike the others though, it has a hard time coming back from losing the board so I find it effective, but less fun to play.

The issue with the nerf is that Cubelock was the main counter to aggro you found on ladder. Spiteful did...alright against it and cube just destroyed you if you played any late game value deck outside of wild, so you did not see stuff like odd warrior very much. With Cubelock getting a royal dicking, even pally is still "alright" I have found. Perhaps it is just because the meta is weird and I am facing a lot of Tempo Rogues and Quest Rogues that just get completely shit on by even pally despite the nerf and it is too soon to tell, but I think the deck will do just fine unless people pick up odd warrior.

Play Murloc Paladin instead - even pally can't compete without the ability to cheat out minions.

Maybe it is just people have not changed over yet, but...
pre-nerf:
Even Pally...
post-nerf:
Oh, more Even Pally...
