I think 2 Silver Hand Recruits a turn from the start of the game is completely overpowered. The deck just has a nonstop onslaught of minions. It's almost as if the devs never play tested a single time with Paladin.
The worst part for me is that the majority of the people in this thread seem to say theyre going to counter the deck with Cubelock/Voidlord shenanigans. Which is sad because that seems to be the only counter and even then i think odd pally can get through if they have Owl for silence. I see no reliable counter to it other than maybe taunt warrior. Just a sad state of events. WTF were they thinking....
Like how does Rogue beat this deck after they use up 2 Fan of Knives? How does Druid compete after 2 Swipes? Its ridiculous.
The deck is Tier 1 and even more cancerous than Cubelock in my opinion.

You'e absolutely right. That' why only the worst kind of players play these decks. Complete idiots.
Greymane pali is actually stronger, especially in mirrors. The even cards for pali have a way higher power level.
Stronger in mirror but way less consistent and putting less pressure (no marsh drake / jungle). Baku Paladin is mostly immune to bad draw. and have Divine Favor. Genn version can crash and burn and lack card draw for any come back. What card draw do you play?
Ps: i do play both. In my experience Even is winning vs Baku if you get good draws. Against the rest Baku seems stronger. Genn is way more fun to play though. This is not a robot swarm at least.
Anyhow, those are the 2 best T1 decks I think. The third place to Tempo rogue i think. Going under the radar but beating pallys, shaman and Cubelocks. I saw some really good lists out there.
I agree with the others that have said Genn aka EVEN Paladin is even stronger than odd Paladin. You know what cards to play around against odd/even pally which is nice. Meta hasn’t settled yet but the Werewolf will end up beating the Mooneater (at least as far as Pally is concerned).
Odd paladin is harder to play around than even paladin because it has random card generation and discover effects. I got wrecked by an odd paladin because I neglected to play around Sunkeeper Tarim which he discovered off Stonehill. I've also been hit by lightning storm and hex by odd paladin. Even paladin is more straightforward but a higher power level due to call to arms. It's worth noting that odd paladin in wild is a whole different beast. Having access to muster for battle, stand against darkness, steward of darkshire, and quartermaster make it almost unstoppable.
Just played a game in Wild against Baku Paladin and crushed him with the meme "Togwaggle Mill Druid". He "Justice Demands Retribution" me the instant we started the game. I roped him from turn one till the end and managed to pull off the combo. He spammed his "dudes" but I got all the perfect answers against him. The game lasted for 30+ minutes; he added me afterwards to complain and state the obvious that I was "wasting his time". One more cancer aggro player who probably broke his mouse and keyboard after the whole shenanigan. No regrets.
Feelsgoodman.
But seriously, Blizzard should really put more consideration in amending the state of the current ladder.
I hate this deck with a passion. It shits on midrange. Shits on aggro, and somehow beats control... If you don't get good draws it's literally an autoloss. Today I had a game where paladin started off with righteous protector, coin, righteous protector. Then kept summoning minions and eventually playing 3 0 mana creepers and 2 other minions + argent squire. Next they drew two vicious scalebanes in a row and finished me off with a level up. Seriously? Fuck this. I'd have to have 4+ board clears to even have a chance of dealing with this or perfect draw. Absolutely rediculous deck, and what's worse? IT'S ANNOYING AS HELL.
What's REALLY disgusting is that odd paladin and even paladin are both S tier. Think about that - two decks with 100% different, mutually exclusive cards.
For years, needed nerf have seemed obvious to me (Patches comes to mind). But this time, I don't even pretend to have an answer.

Hello!
Quest warrior (not odd) is really good against it. Overall though I think it's too strong.
Control Lock is as cancerous as Aggro pally
Put your faith in the Value!
Odd pally is cheaper, even pally need a ton of legendarys and epics, I think is the only reason we see much more of them.

I'll tell you something more disgusting.. Quest Rogue.
Love when the meta fills w this deck. Went 22-1 with cubeloc last week.
