My point is, these cards totally sell out your deck at the start of the match. Your opponent just knows what to expect and how to deal with you. Not so impressive if you ask me.

but they dont expect dinosize
OH god dam, you totally got me there, bruh.
no really i went rank 6 to legend in 1 day with dinosize being one of my highest winrate cards
While I cant comment on if its better, Odd Pally is far cheaper than either even pally or K&C era pally.
Just putting it out there, that deck is almost F2P and that has a lot of appeal for most people (including myself). Because of this, even if it ends up being subpar, I believe it will still be played on ladder.
Can anyone give an advice what that 6 new cards to substitute in KNC dudadin to try? Or maybe whole WW dude deck pls. Without either odd/even shenanigans. Thank U.
In Standard, the card pool is just too small, halving that is even worse. People are using Raid Leader, Stormwind Champion...even Emerald Reaver. Control decks like Elemental Mage and Quest Warrior are using their upgraded hero power like 3-4 times before replacing it with Sulfuras or DK Jaina.
I'm sure there will be more support in the coming expansions, but right now it's a bit of a fad.
Personally, from my experience playing both odd and even paladin from rank 10 to 5, I found it's more of a rock-paper-scissors match up which looks like this: even > odd > normal > even and so on.
even pally will crush odd pally from turn 4 and so on, due to CTA, consecration and spike steed. Odd pally can control the board better, or hit face faster than normal pally since most of them doesnt run consecration nor spike steed and their equality is useless. while normal pally has better overall play from the beginning till late game than even pally due to more choice of cards to play in every turn.
I will investigate more in this higher ranks, but later. got bored on playing too much dude...

With a small samplesize, I can say normal vs odd-din is almost 100% about drawing CTA to get knives and jailors (to outdude the heropower) but it is fairly a close matchup.
I think Odd is a different deck than Dude Paladin. It's basically just an aggro Paladin, right? In that case, I think the Baku HP is worth the price of admission.
I think you may have a point with Even. Losing Vinecleaver is something I really wouldn't want to do. Level Up is a good one as well (although with SAD, it's not as appealing).
I am not saying the odd/even decks are not good, they obviously are, but I believe the vanilla dudedin build is even stronger. I have not seen any counterarguments yet, probably because very few have actually trid it (yet...)
The odd/even decks also have the problems that the heropower bonus of the even-deck is useless lategame, while the odd deck gives up the most powerful early/midgame pushes.
I think all three are great, and I think that people have only scraped the bottom of what you can do with especially odd decks. Right now it's all aggro, but when I look at the hero power I see a lot of value, so I have no trouble seeing an odd midrange and odd control deck materialise as well. The fact that all these decks are so strong will make ALL of them better. I think this makes it hard to measure which deck is actually the best.
I suspect the deciding factor will be what people tech against. As soon as one of the decks is teched against, the others get a chance to shine even more. Rinse and repeat.
It is definitely worth it for Face Hunter, Dude Paladin, Aggro Rogue and Taunt/Control Warrior(Justicar Hero Power from turn 1 is just insane vs any deck that isn't cubelock or OTK shaman). Don't think it's really worth it in other decks.
Also, I'm still on the fence about which version of paladin is better. While the odd effect itself is better by a mile, even is much less of a compromise as you still get to run cards like Tirion, CtA, Val'anyr, Consec and Equality(the later two are basically your one chance to beat cube).

I don't know man, I beat an Even pally that got CTA turn 4 and 5. I had 25 health left. (with odd paladin)
I'm not sure that the available odd cards encourage any sort of midrange play.
I'd have to disagree. the reload is so good you often can go midrange. I've won many games with Odd paly past turn 10. Now if you automatically assume you're going to lose after a set back and concede.. well that's a different matter.
I also find my Genn pally beating our Baku brothers or sisters usually. But shit can happen. I've also lost one time despite having double CTA. There is a reason no deck has more than 75% winrate. Anomalies exist.
Baku is more aggressive but personally I think Genn can deal with some bad draws early. If Baku does't get a good turn 1-3, he is usually fucked.
Edit: nevermind, I now realize that you meant the even vs odd match up.
It was actually odd vs normal paladin.
Maybe we are indeed talking about a 4-headed monster here, with Normal, Odd, Even and Secret paladin each being able to take turns as top decks. The aggro/dude/murloc paladin was similar.
That being said, my normal paladin is still stomping at rank 5!
Honestly, i think odd/even decks are way too predictable for they have very restricted amount of options available to them. Take paladin for example:
You see Oddpally: you expect and play around Level Up!, Vinecleaver and no removal whatsoever.
You see Evenpally: you play around Sunkeeper Tarim, Call to Arms and probably some removal.
My point is, these cards totally sell out your deck at the start of the match. Your opponent just knows what to expect and how to deal with you. Not so impressive if you ask me.

Odd Paladin helps you to control the board, which it is what you really want.

i think what really matters in mirrors is Lucky Juggler ang good Maul's roll (Especially Mass Divine shield).
It has a lot potential in Wild, especially some such as Odd Paladin which can still use Muster for Battle, Steward of Darkshire, Stand Against Darkness and Quartermaster.
