Granted, I don't have every card available. But I've been having a lot of fun with this in casual. When it pays off, it pays off big-time. However, I'm by no means an expert at deck-building and was wondering if anyone had any tips for what other cards I could put in there? Whether it's realistic to think Spiteful Paladin could ever work?
Just would feel nice to play a Paladin deck that isn't smash-the-opponents-face aggro.
I think it could work. Why faceless and alchemist? Also djinn isn’t a great card in my experience. Maybe throw in a blessing of kings and or grand archivist.
You really want the maybe good outcome from Spiteful instead the absolutely broken, better, cheaper, insanely OP, totally busted, completely unfair, beyond unbalanced Call To Arms?
You are trade the amazing for something costing more mana and maybe will be amazing, don't look a good decision for me.

I initially had Grand Archivist in there but he ended up casting the spell on an opponent's minion - something that is never ideal..
Faceless Manipulator is there to copy a minion that has either already been dinosized or Spikeridged. All about controlling the board. Alchemist is there to swap either a Spikeridged minion for lethal or to help with killing off a Voidlord or similar.
I know it needs more work which is why I posted it here.. just not sure where improvements could be made..
I tried to make a Spiteful Anyfin Can Happen deck in Wild. Looked awesome on paper, but didn't perform so well. It was about as a good as Spiteful Druid.
What makes Spiteful Priest successful is Duskbreaker for dealing with Aggro, and even that is often not enough, so with Paladin and Druid having no similar effect they can get overwhelmed pretty quickly. Getting more control from Drakonid Operative is a bonus.
I can see some potential there though, let us know how it goes.
Basically, Spiteful will either be killed by the rotation and if it lives, Blizz will finally 'hear the players' and nerf it exactly at the halfway to the next meta shakeup. So the answer is yes, like any build, it has a chance of working for 2 months.

This is my attempt at it:

Why not make it an Anyfin Can Happen deck and also throw in Lay on Hands. Edit: sorry didn't read the above comment
