Do you agree with such a buff to the card, do you think it should be buffed at all, or should it receive a different buff than that? :)
Hey, thanks for the feedback, everyone! :)
In no way am I trying to impose my opinion, it's really interesting to me that so many people disagreed haha, from my own POV I thought it was obvious that he's the worst dk, but.... Maybe I'm wrong..... :pp
no, it's good the way it is, look at it line this, the default HP spawns a 1/1, the deathknight spawns a 2/2, just this is a generally logical upgrade and that you win if you have 4 of those tokens on the field at once is a bonus that truly makes it a balanced HP in my opinion
They should remain as they are at the moment. Also, where is the reasoning behind the proposed change? I see a question but I don't see any argument as to why they should even consider changing the card...
thinking the same; really kinda strange just throwing this title to our faces and then leaving us with no real reasoning behind the OP, only some questions.

The general consensus (and my opinion as well) is that pally dk is simply really really weak. The 2/2s don't do anything on the board and the 5/3 weapon doesn't synergies with paladin as a weapon class.
I've got over 1,000 wins with strictly control paladin decks, all the way since pre naxx, I know what I'm talking about. Also all the pro players say the same thing about Uther dk.

I disagree and the pros I know have the opinion that uther dk is one step away from broken. No buffs needed but I hope paladin will get some new combo cards for the OTK as soon as Beardo/Bully rotate out. Would be a shame if you only play Uther DK for the lifesteal weapon.

In what way is it one step away from broken? must be why he is dominating the meta at the moment and an auto include in any paladin, yes........

Is that an issue with the card, though, or just a matter of the current meta stifling control Paladin?
I think it's a good card in the right meta. Between the armor gain and lifesteal we're talking up to 20 points of healing, a fair amount of removal (or face damage if that's your jam), and the hero power upgrade isn't irrelevant. Throw in a well-placed Getaway Kodo and then drop a Spikeridged Steed on another Horseman and suddenly your opponent has to at least burn resources respecting that win condition.
It's not a consistent win condition like Shadowreaper Anduin or a complete stabilizer like Gul-Dangerous, obviously, but I think it's a solid, balanced card.

I think it's a good card in the right meta. Between the armor gain and lifesteal we're talking up to 19 points of healing, a fair amount of removal (or face damage if that's your jam), and the hero power upgrade isn't irrelevant. Throw in a well-placed Getaway Kodo and then drop a Spikeridged Steed on another Horseman and suddenly your opponent has to at least burn resources respecting that win condition.

I might sound dumb for mentioning this but isn't Auctioneer Beardo (or whatever it's called) the only card with a use for the Pally DK? Because Beardo + 4-4 Horsemen would be broken as f..k
I dont agree with the buff but i agree with the sentiment. Uther is too weak in my opinion.
I would suggest that Uther currently appears weak in both formats because the best Paladin decks simply can't afford to run him - greedy MR Paladin and Control Paladin haven't been viable since KFT launched. Tirion Fordring is one of the best late-game cards in HS, but he seems to be in the same boat - Aggro Paladin and fast MR builds have out-performed slower builds for the past six months. It's also worthwhile recognizing that Uther is a combo card - a lot of players simply don't have the patience, inclination, or foresight to properly pilot a combo deck, and the numbers for Uther will always suffer as a result. Even so, Uther has had among the best "win-rates when played" for any DK since KFT launched, judging by the HSReplays numbers. In the future, greedy Paladin builds will perpetually be looking for cards which either reduce the cost of Hero Powers, refresh them, or do both - the potential for future OTK abuse seems quite obvious, all things considered . . .

For actually reliably pulling off the combo? Yeah. But the card still gives you a 5/3 lifesteal weapon, and generating hero power minions that can't be pinged is nice, too.

Hells no that would be broken af
When life gives you lemons, trade'em for limes and get some Coronas!
That would be way too strong. Even a 3/3 would be too strong.
So unkilable by priest, and hard to trade by any other class, close to jaraxus hero power but without the 15 life limit. Yeah, nooooo
2 mana 4/4, no additional card resource and not to mention, that when all 4 combined the opponent automatically loses? Yeah, np. I'm voting YES.
But now seriously - the 2/2 is already a Trueheart upgrade. Why would you need to buff it more?

Pointless, the best dk pally move is to play them all on one turn.
Once burgly bully and beardo rotate they better come out with some other way to do it

Even in the best deck for it, which is the OTK deck, its one of the lowest tier decks currently, so I've no idea what you're on about....
