We have survived the storm of the jade monster and our deliverance is only months away. Despite our controlling ways being dealt a harsh blow with miracles abounding we have still cobbled together a mighty defence with our murloc allies.
If we can remain relevant at a time when everything we held dear has been ripped from us then surely deliverance is at hand.
Cling to the light and do not lose faith. Take up your truesilver and know that the silverhand will be there to support us in the months ahead.
Ready your buffs and prepare to fight. We will not be silenced! Even in death our ashbringers will bring ruination.
I call all those worthy to arms and implore you to fight. Fight for our right to stay in the meta and show all those net deckers out there that justice is still here.
Silver Hand Recruit Paladin is my absolute FAVORITE deck archetype so i'm loving all the new support. It's by no means a great deck but it's one of the most fun for me because it feels like I'm commanding a mini army, and I play HS for fun decks not tier 1 decks. And who knows, with the new cards it might even become something great.
Hey man, I'm really happy for you that it's a fun archetype for you!
My own problem is that the silver hand recruit archetype is REALLY boring for me, personally. I've NEVER played a net deck in my entire hearthstone playing time (ever since before Nax came out!), so I also don't play to win, so the problem for me is not only that paladin is weak, but that the archetype it's getting support for is super boring for me too...

So much truth spoken here. It's funny how many potential archtypes I've tried: divine shield aggro, handbuffs, Galvadon, recruit, control, Etc,...But you find out at the end of the day, they're only there to give you a good laugh in casual or to your opponent if you're playing ranked. So until they come out with something fresh for paladin, I'll be switching over to control priest and evolve shasmn. Sorry for that typo, I threw up a little when saying that.
After seeing everything being revealed and watching the streams to get ideas about how good these cards could potentially be...I am still mixed if I am excited or dreading another expansion where Paladin has a hard time competitively. The two archetypes that I had the most fun playing was Dragon Paladin and Silver Hand Recruit Paladin. I have always tried to make Dragon Paladin work every expansion even with BRM rotating out just cause its my favorite. I love Midrange and Control Paladin, just frustrating that Jade Druid and Priest are just better :(
The new cards given to us just seem to be all over the place, some helping out Silver Hand Recruit Paladin, some helping Handbuff Paladin. Always been hoping to would give us more control/removal options. Also was really hoping being a Dungeons and Dragon themed expansion Dragon Paladin would come back, but alas, a dream that stays in wild for me (RIP Dragon Consort)

Hey, at least Paladin can't be any worse than Hunter and Shaman. All cards, legendary weapons and forced archtypes those two classes got are underpowered and unplayable, at least until they release new OP support cards in the next round
K&C is probably going to be one expansion where there's clear top and dumpster classes
@OP If your main class is going nowhere you want it to, there's 8 other classes to try. I used to main priest in the year before Kraken. Now the class is a RNG fiesta where you're at the mercy of your draw order. I can't believe how much the class devolved in the years I stopped playing it
Paladin is all I play, I just hit 2000 ranked wins with the class and I've been playing since Pre-Nax, and I can say for certain that it is the worst class in hearthstone and has been for way too long, not in terms of viability but in terms of fun even when it ways playable
I'm so sick and tired of paladin not having either removal outside equality or a viable late game value-generating effect. The class is unplayable as a control deck and a bad murloc agro deck after the buff. Bad early game? Don't worry here's a 2 mana 2! "Um blizzard we need more for Paladin early game cane we mayyyyyybbbeee get shielded minibot bac-" DID SOMEONE SAY 2 MANA 1/1 Diregultch Jailor?!. Oh btw we're giving every other class better late game and board clears then you but its ok because you have suuuuuucccchhhhh good legendaries they'll make up the difference.
Not a single person at Blizzard plays Paladin. Becasue they make the class teir two, but not just teir two, but unfun as well. The class is boring. Theres no random Lyra the Sunshard effects, no (anywhere close to viable) OTK like mage, nothing to make any game different from the last. You do decent if you curve well, and thats it. Secret paladin was a boring curve deck, murloc paladin was a boring curve deck.....annnnd thats all the paladin decks that were ever viable. Midrange paladin was a masterpeice of a deck by blizzard, and it was the most fun I've ever had with the class. The quest was bull, the DK was too slow and didn't get enough support, and now we're stuck as a class with great and interesting legendaries with no support for them.
My recommendation? 2 cards: 2 mana give a friendly minion divine shield or deal 3 damage to an enemy minion and 5 mana 4/7 dragon, Taunt, only you can target this minion with spells and hero powers.
Of course, these cards are broken and overpowered, but then again look at Raza with Shadowreaper, the mage quest, JADE ANYTHING. Blizzard needs to stop pushing stupid, bad, and uninteresting theme down Paladin players throats like healing or recruit cards. The best decks kill you before you can heal and there are so many board clears in the game that your 1/1 recruits die instantly, and there are enough silence and removal to make it so buffs are 100% useless, people are cutting spikeridged steed in decks and you give us Lynessa Sunsorrow?! Do you even play your own game blizzard?!
It's sad to see my favorite class hit rock bottom from the slope its been riding since GVG, but here we are, the worst paladin meta ever.
Just gonna say, Call to Arms, Potion of Heroism and Unidentified Maul are AMAZING Murloc tools.
You might want to see a more Paladin-themed Paladin deck running the show, but I think the other decks have their place and just need to be explored (have we considered trying some crazy Master Oakheart combo? I mean, Bolvar IS a 1-attack minion...)
