i reached to the rank 3 last season (a high for me) with an aggro druid. but god, i hate aggro decks. many opponents are just helpless because it's so frustrating and goes out of control. and it is not a skill intensive deck. i just wanted to play something else for this time, at least my aim was to reach rank 10 with some midrange-control type decks. first day, i tried control warrior, but couldnt climb past rank 14 and got deranked quickly.
i've been trying to climb the rank 15 for the two days with a midrange paladin list and i got stuck with a 35-61 winrate :/ especially today, i lost back to back 7 games. and finally got tilted and decided to take advice from other people
Sometimes you just have a bad streak. That will pass. And it's the beginning of the month, climbing is more difficult then, because all the (more serious) Legend players start to grind their way up the ladder.
i dont know but my gut feeling in those situations is to drop every thing! In the end you got rekt by a terrible start is my feeling! The two clears wouldnt have done it cause of 0mana 5/5s and tripple 6 drops! But shaman is a though one with that slow start!
I probably would've played Tirion or Rag on turn 10 with the secret (at least when I look at it now without any pressure). Probably that game was lost anyway, but it looks like the best chance (one hex was gone, devolve could have given you another taunt). Or at least playing the other murloc and a hero power first in case you get taunt from gentle megasaur.
Edit: I think the start was okay. you played turn 1 to 3 something reasonable, but he simply had every answer. You started to wiff in the early midgame on turn 4. And that was simply a bad draw. If you could've played a Megasaur on turn 4, he couldn't have killed your board that easily while developing more minions.
Edit2: And turn 9 you kill his White Eyes, turn 10 he draws The Storm Guardian ? Some games are simply not ment to be won.
Its just my feeling playing Midrange play to rank 1 last season that the turn 1 and t2 secret creator guy is to week vs agresive decks! (Dont regelverk the name of the dude right now) so im always going all in on the other murlocks or you pray he dont have all the answers!
I agree with first answer here though lay on hands feels so clunky! I run Finja but AS you dont have that card i would maybe even swap the water package, either that or put i a Kodo! While typing here i realise that you should definatly go for Kodo! Such a good card vs aggro and you can follow upp with the Kodo buff!

You played Midrange to rank 1 and you don't remember the name? Right...
Midrange Paladin is having very bad matchups against Token Druid, Token Shaman or any Shaman, and then a 50% chance against anything else. Right now, it isn't really good to climb with it.
In other words, nothing's wrong with your deck.

Edit: I think your deck lacks The Curator. Maybe take out Lay on Hands. Another approach could be to change one Truesilver Champion for a Rallying Blade to have earlier access to a weapon.
i dont have karazhan yet but im working on it
here's a replay, 0 star at rank 15, a shaman rekt me, even tho i topdecked alot

i will try the rallying blade one
What was you thoughts on mulligan that game?

so you say, i should mulligan hard for 1 drops?
