Just wanted to share for those looking for a fun and competitive pally deck. It won't climb fast (obviously) but it is a lot of fun and can very easily win games.
The one flaw is it struggles with infinite vale (i.e. quest) decks but to compensate for that, it absolutely crushes anyone trying to rush you with tempo. You'll have 5 2 damage aoe's, any of which can be comboed with equality (add pyro to that list), doomsayer + maybe an aldor to control the pace of the game, an absolutely staggering healing of 80 points (maximum for every card, counting only 1 trigger for lightlord) and enough quality minions to take back the board after a good clear
Hope you guys like this different take on pally :)
Edit: there are match up and combo explanations on the deck page
This kind of deck struggles whit taunt warrior, how is your expiriences?
if it's quest taunt then yea it's really hard, more so than other quests. if you can get them to over extend into a board clear and establish a presence you may win (steed is the best for this).
Basically it's very hard to beat the infinite value quests give, so if you're seeing more of those this isn't the deck to play. if, however, you're seeing more non-quest decks, elemental-anything, pirates, even jade, then you crush them
I run a similar deck and love it! Wickerbristle helps a lot for early game and if combined with Spikerridged Steed is amazing for late game heal. I've had good success versus Quest Warrior mainly with the edition of Elise. Great late game cards. I run two Spikeridged because I'm pretty sure it's my new favorite card.

Damn that's nice! Bristle is a great idea, still not sure i wanna craft though. In my version i think 2 steeds is a bit much, it's wayyy over on the control side, more than half my games go to fatigue :/. Also Elise... damn this game is so expensive! >:(
I'm basically using the cards i have as best as possible. I'm sure Tirion would be great for this deck but I don't have him and not crafting when I know I'll open him one day. I do love the leges I have in this deck, Lightlord is crazy for sustain, Geddon is the nuts against Warlock, Hunter, Shaman and Curator is just straight up my favourite card in the game
On the subject of Curator, I think he's become a very interesting inclusion. Basically, like with pirates or murlocs, you can run a very effective "control" package, running Curator, Primordial Drake, Corrupted Seer and Stampeding Kodo (or whatever other beast, Direhorn Hatchling especially!). Makes deck building really interesting
I think I put in 2 steeds because Im still going through CW withdrawal. When I did play CW, Geddon was an auto include (he was one of my first legendaries as well) so I know how good he can be. The Curator......., yup, time to come up with more decks! Keep winning with this deck and update it if you discover more improvements! And if you open Elise put her in ASAP. She is even better in a fatigue deck.
This was a surprise for me too. I was getting killed when trying to play quests. The two decks that seem to be working for me that has been very surprising has been control Pally and ramp Druid. Btw, Im only a level 5-10 player so Im not that good. I have no clue how these decks perform in higher ranks and legend play.
I really don't think either is necessary actually. Most games go to fatigue but even if I go in first there's so much healing it'd take 5+ damage to even start making a dent. If you're talking about just value then I guess it would help against other control decks. That would require more card draw maybe, in order to not fuck up the tempo match up

I really do like control pally in the meta right now. It can even outlast some quest rogues which is nuts.
needs prince malchezaar and/or elise
I think you should run Tirion Fordring and/or x2 Stonehill Defender so you can get extra Tirions (and protect yourself in the process)

Dirty Rat is mandatory or you lose against every Exodia Mage out there
