I've been holding on a golden Lay on Hands for a while now, I like the card but since Ragnaros, Lightlord came out it became a bit useless. I'm wondering if I should disenchant it for 400 dust or keep it just in case. I'm playing Wild only so Rag will never rotate for me.
In general, do you think Lay on Hands will ever make a comeback someday ?
I use it in wild, where the games are slower... but in standard it's pretty useless, you need healing long before T8 versus aggro and the jade idol decks will have you crushed soon after T8 nomatter how you draw, you can rarely afford a turn without tempo.
I would keep it especially if you are playing wild there is alot of slow decks running around and drawing 3 cards can be SOO good in a control matchup.
Searching for an equality ? Lay on Hands, Searching for more heal ? Lay on hands (and it heals you aswell), Searching for a certain tech card you have in your deck LAY ON HANDS!, i think you kinda get it now.
I cant agree really with Grumhul personally i think wild has the slowest meta ever (playing at rank 3 in EU in case if that matters) and theres so much anti aggro cards like belcher and deathlord that i cant imagine games being too fast for it.
Betrayer... In truth, it was I who was betrayed. Still, I am hunted. Still, I am hated. Now, my blind eyes see what others cannot: that sometimes the hand of fate must be forced! Now go forth... unleash the tides of Doom... Upon all those...who would oppose us.
If you only care for Wild, dust it. There is no way that such a slow card will ever be relevant to such a fast environment.
Could you please tell me where you're experiencing all these fast games? Because it's definitely not in Wild. Fastest deck I can think of at the top of my head would be Midrange Hunter, and Lay on Hands is usually pretty good against that in my experience.

Hi fellas !

Rag isn't strictly speaking a better card.
Back when midrange paladin was good it relied on Lay on Hands so for that reason I could see it making a comeback.
Unless you are really starved for dust, I would hold on to it.
Remember rag is non-standard card and will be rotated eventually
Piloted Shredder, Knife Juggler, Mad Scientist, Dr. Boom
Need to be removed from this game

Well if you guys could read the OP (which is not so long anyway), you'd say that I don't care about Standard.
Anyway, thanks Rjomario, I think I'll keep it for now ! :)

Good card. Keep it.
