I actually find that Control paladin has an easy match up vs hunter. The taunts slow them down so so much and the healing makes u almost unkillable in the later game. I would maybe try to watch someone play Paladin VS hunter and learn a bit. :)
If you want to have like a 95% win ratio VS Hunter, use control warrior.. <3 it works amazingly I have lost once to hunter out of like 20 games.
Here's my issue. Ever since I started playing Hearthstone, the hunter class always stood out to me. I love archery, I love animals, and Rexxar is my favorite Warcraft character. Hunter was the first class I unlocked, the class I had the most fun playing, and I simply enjoyed it the most. I love hunter. The theme of it, the way it plays, the emotes, all of it. My only golden hero is hunter. From season 2 and onward, I've played exclusively hunter to legend. I just don't think it's fair that people label me a Huntard, noob, moron, cancer, etc. Honestly, I think the deck is perfectly balanced. The only problem is that people haven't adapted to it yet, so they're getting beaten by it a lot.

At what rank if I may ask? At legend, the MU is 50/50 at best, if the Hunter isn't even at an advantage. Even if you check the streams of hardcore warrior players such as Sjow, they struggle real hard vs Hunters and lose more often than they win.
Edit: Running a Spellbreaker might be the key. Highmane wins games on its own if not answered in time.

Warriors running Frothing Berserker can answer Savannah Highmane very well in my experiences. I've seen it come ahead when fresh played as an 8/4 simply by trading minions for Highmane.

Well, if you read the first post, the point of this thread is not to bash hunters, but to request tips on how to counter this latest deck, so you don't have to be so defensive and off topic.
I just played 5 ranked games at rank 9 with my pally control, and 4 out of the 5 games were against hunters and I was only barely able to beat one.
It seems they've gotten even faster with the new naxx cards. I thought zoo was hard to stop, but this is ridiculous.
Any tips for this matchup for control pally?

Yesterday I mainly faced Hunters and Mages, with a couple of druids. Odd really as I would have thought Hunter counters mage pretty hard.
So I played a ridic ramp druid with only one 3 drop (BGH) that would just autolose to Zoo (which I faced once in about 15 games).
I didn't struggle much with hunter until the new cards.
These two new decks are quite frustrating:

Gonna try putting a couple Unstable Ghouls in...
No no no no no no. Me and my fellow hunters have been a weaker class for a while now. We deserve to be good again :P

Haha... thing is, Pally didn't get much boost from Naxx, and we really could've used a bit more.
And hunter mirror matches must just be a real hoot :P
Please go back to bitching about zoo and miracle rogue. I liked that much more.

Well, now all the bandwagon zoo players are playing hunter, so no.

We still run different decks and have different levels of skill while playing them.
Get with it.
