Well guys, I thank u all for discussing the subject with me, but I think I've made up my mind, going with Anyfin... just seems like the stronger option for ladder atm
To the OP: Anyfin is a combo deck, struggling against aggro. N'Zoth is a midrange-ish deck that has some flexible slots. I'd go with N'Zoth and shape the deck according to my playstyle and meta.
Wait, I thought Anyfin had the better match-ups... beacause with N'Zoth isn't it harder to finish your opponent? Also, control warrior just brawls your N'Zoth and Priests/Shamans just entomb/hex your deathrattles, at least that's the argument I've heard
I just want to know why some people think N'Zoth version is better, Anyfin has more draw and a more realiable finisher (making it more consistent I guess). But according to tempo storm N'Zoth is better against control warrior and mid shaman (both pretty popular right now), and I don't understand why!
Yeah, I have to agree you on that. I said in my last post that N'Zoth is more consistent but now that I actually tried out both decks, Anyfin seems to be superior. Also I lost all my matches with N'Zoth Pally to Anyfin Paladins :D
As others have said, there's also the hybrid version that is pretty fun to pilot. It has Sylvanas and Tirion alongside N'Zoth, as well as the other murloc cards. I have played deck from rank 17 to rank 5 last season, and it was a lot of fun. Unfortunately after rank 5 I was pretty much stuck, so I finished the season around 50% WR :/
So overall I like it, but it doesn't seem that strong (I surely didn't play it optimally like you other pros would, but still). It seems that a purely murloc deck would be more consistent, with better card draws (Solemn Vigil). However against Control Warrior it's really good. Can anyone relate?
N'Zoth Paladin sometimes feels better to pilot because your dropping more minions and interacting more with the board. With Anyfin its draw draw heal heal drop murlocs let them die drop anyfin and win. Obviously that a extreme simplification but sometimes it seems like you are just waiting for the opponent to load the board before you clear it as opposed to N'Zoth where you will be fighting with minions a little more.
Murloc pally is really fun though. and there's no feeling like an OTK!
Seem like you have made up your mind but I thought I'd explain why some people pefer N'Zoth pally, Enjoy friend:)
Hm, I see thanks for the replies people, but if I were to put Sylvanas and N'Zoth into Anyfin, what would guys reccomend taking out? A doomsayer and an acolyte/vigil?

you have 6 bloody months till anyfin rotates out... and it is by far superior

Why choose? The hybrid variant is really strong.
Would u have a list to examplify this Hybrid version?

The 1st step towards a better game is firing Mike Donais! We had enough of his "skillful" balances!

I vote Shaman! Kappa
Jokes aside if you want to enjoy paladin class go back to wild and play secret paladin aka best deck ever.
Regardless of the version Paladin is hopelessly poor in Standard.

We should petition for a deathrattle murloc.

Cut the acolyte you need at least one doomsayer so maybe ONE of those. vigils are pretty hand for pyro equality combo.
