In my early climb this season I won all games of this matchup (10-15 games) (C'Thun Warrior vs Nzoth Paladin). Most of them because of very poor plays, here is some tips if you want to win this matchup:
1. Don't **** draw cards. C'Thun warriors are better than you in fatigue, most of them run Justicar and they can gain 20 armor with 2 cards. 2. Don't kill C'Thun, only if it's extremely needed. Most of the time the warrior player drops it just to ressurect it later, bigger and with a big burst for lethal on fatigue. 3. Try to hold Sylvanas and steal C'Thun, this will improve your chances a lot. Because C'Thun can only be ressurected by Doom Caller if killed in your possession.
I hope I can help some of you.
You can win making these mistakes against poor players, but if you face someone that knows what he is doing, it's almost impossible to win if you don't follow these 3 tips.
No offense, but I play N'Zoth Paladin...and I have absolutely no issues with C'Thun Warriors. Face warriors? Yes. C'Thun warriors? No they are predictable and easy as hell, as long as you have your removal in hand and you don't overextend to avoid brawls. 90% of the times we end up in fatigue, with the only difference being that the warrior has no board at all and I have my N'Zoth still to play. GG in that case.
Like I said, you will have no problem against a poor player. Otherwise, you will be ahead on fatigue, with heals on hand, and the warrior with a 20dmg burst just waiting. I'm playing this matchup since the start of the season and didn't lost a single one yet. It's a matchup so good that I have the same winrate only against freeze mage.
This card's value is incredible in fatigue games, and is better than Cairne IMO, since I'm facing more control decks than whatever Cairne is good against, although you don't have to swap them out like I do, I just do it because I don't want to craft Cairne; both is fine, if you want the anti-control Justicar tech and that extra 6 cost deathrattle.
Well, good for you. I'm pretty good and come across pretty good players, but if they play C'Thun warrior, while I'm on my paladin..they don't stand a chance, so it's unfair to claim that I'm only winning because they are ALL bad, lol. Same could be said about your situation..maybe the players you face are just bad. Saying that would be unfair, so don't do it the other way around ;) Just other experiences I guess.
Add my battletag if you want to play some games. I still didn't lost to any Nzoth Paladin. On rank 7 since 14 I faced like 10-15 games of this matchup.

Yeah but it can become a liability against double brawl, the first one can remove big targets easier with more tokens on the board. But having justicar makes Sylvanas a lot worst.

Ps: Nzoth Priest is almost the same situations.

It stands to reason that you're both well above average, which is likely the decisive factor in this particular matchup. ^^
Two words: Justicar Trueheart.

These are solid tips OP.
It's easy to lose this matchup by playing it the same way you would against druid.
old pally vs. warrior principals still apply. The one who plays slower, wins.
