Last weeks meta snapshot had this as a 80/20 in favor of the Renolock, this week's has it as a 50/50? From my experience I think the 80/20 is probably the closer of the two but I am still new to the deck so I figured I'd get the thoughts of more experienced freeze players.
The game I won yesterday was by dropping Alex to bait reno then pyroblast and burst him down from 20 over two turns. They have so much healing that If he used a healbot I would have run out of damage. So it's not unwinnable but it definitely seems to be heavily favored for the renolock. How could the matchup change that drastically so quickly? It can't be right.
I think Freeze Mage is pretty strong against Renolock.
Either you get a lot of chip damage, along with them tapping, in order to force them to use Reno, and then Alex them, or just yolo and pray they don't have it.
I find this to be one of the hardest match ups other than control warrior. The key is to be greedy with the 2 drops and make them reno before alex, if it's possible

Thanks for the replies guys. I've gotten much better with the deck since posting this and I'm definitely getting my fair share of wins. I'm still not sure an accurate winrate but this seems to be very skill intensive matchup and experience is the key. Yesterday I beat 2 midrange Druids, 1 CW and a Renolock in a span of less than 10 games, so I guess I've come a long way.
