Or is it because they all seem very powerful ? They aren't super original or anything, but I like the sheer damage and fire direction than the RNG and overall very arcany direction for mage.
Check out outofcards if you haven't seen the last new cards, or Hearthpwn frontpage soon I guess.
The Ignite spells seems like it means Mage can no longer fatigue.
Technically yes, but fatigue has never really been a big deal, i think what you want with this card is quite the opposite, not stall your draws but draw as much as possible in order to cycle this card as many times as possible to the opponent's face
(I know Tick is technically "not a good card," but for some reason people keep playing it, so it is relevant.)
I mean if anything Ignite is yet another way to mitigate the effect of tickatus on control and combo decks (since he is irrelevant against aggro).
Now are control and combo mages going to play Ignite ? I have no idea. I know I will.
If the Warlock sees you are a Fire Mage, they will do their best to hold Tickatus until they can burn the Ignite(s) you place in your deck. I guess it becomes a game of chicken at that point.

Hey all, I'M excited about the new mage cards! I think we can go a few different directions with the questline spell power deck, no-minion questline and maybe even control?
I was going to make a thread, but this seems like an appropriate place to advertise. Here is my theorycraft for one new deck.
The ink set allows us to potentially carry a 0 mana potion of illusion and double up on the win-cons of Tony and Mordy. This might end up being more of a meme-OTK deck than a competitive one, but damn if I ain't excited to give it a try.
This is standard, of course, in wild I can see the new elemental, ignite and sorcerer's apprentice causing a ruckus.
So much fun :)

Also my beloved Forgotten Torch now has a new friend Ignite to support my Aluneth deck and I love it

Tickatus would like you see you in his office.

Because the cheap fire spells.

Finally Mage is getting some consistent midrange stuff and not just random bs. Also, Prestor's Pyromancer is gotta be my new favorite card artwork.
