i played against a reno mage. she was far behind and i was a galakrond warlock(fully invoked).
i had 3 Galakronds fully invoked in hand she was low.
i played 1, reno did AoE and i lost my board, 5 wp face
next turn i played another reno AoEed my board again. again 5 weapon face.
she was at 5 or 3 reno AoEed my board again and healed him (DH 3 mana AoE), he sticky fingered my weapon, played Cthun piece
and drew Cthun immediately.
this RNG statistically should happen one in 3 millions but blizzard has created a theme (good guys vs bad guys). good guys should win so we should get fked for playing galakrond.
we are not a bunch of dumbtards man! obviously this RNG is manipulated, i know what is AI how those algorithms work
the RNG in this match was crazy crazy carzy favoured. he was demanding and reno and draw was providing.
im ok even with this situation.
the fact that our Games are manipulated and they think we are not adware of it is a direct attack to our personal environment and they call us dumb community, i never expect those streamers talk about this some have (Kisforgive or something like this).
streamers are making money out of this and they want ppl play more and they have more viewers. we the community should talk about this, we should not let blizzard touch our personal environment. this is a big and ongoing issue
they have created a term "conspiracy theory" and they shut down any one who reports something unnormal calling it CONSPIRACY THEORY, tell me how are you gonna stop them if they are abusing RNG area?
This is 100% salt post, there is an thread for it so you do not need to create anotjer thread.
And your game? Well, all the stars aligned for your opponent and if you will not play again, they will not be able to align for you.
My advice? Take a week break, do some sudoku, hiking, handwork or help the old lady from your neighborhood. Smile at the people from your heart and do not be salty when they do not smile back. Watch some funny videos at youtube and read some book. Week will pass and you will be ready to play again.
Good luck!

You realise that in order for this sort of thing to not happen, they would have to rig it so that these outcomes were not possible? Meaning they would directly be excluding certain events from happening which is exactly what you seem so upset about.
Statistically these sorts of events should happen. Just like if you flip a coin 50 million times you would expect some crazy streaks of the same result to happen. How mnay times would you flip heads before you got upset that the coin was rigged?
I've genuinely seen people answer this question and say things like 50 times etc and it just shows how little they understand random chance. I'm by no means clued up on the subject but have enough of a working understanding to get that these sorts of things happen.
The simple fact that the chance is low doesn't negate the fact that it is possible. What you've described doesn't sound completely insane and there are a number of cards in the pool that can have similar impacts. There are multiple board clears and life steal effects that it doesn't surprise me that over millions and millions of games this sort of thing happens.
this RNG statistically should happen one in 3 millions but blizzard has created a theme (good guys vs bad guys). good guys should win so we should get fked for playing galakrond.
On a related note, I wish to share a story. It's a salt story, but I want to stay out of the salt thread, and it touches the same topic:
I tortured myself finishing my climb on Wild yesterday with Even Warlock. Other Warlocks (Discard, Darkglare) would have been my better matchups, and I was led to believe they were very popular. But in over 2 hours, I've seen none of them. I tried to get from Plat 5 to Dia 10 with a x2 star bonus.
Almost every single opponent I've seen was either Mage or Priest (the former is a frustrating matchup, the latter is impossible). Oftentimes, I played against 2 or 3 Secret Mages in a row. Before you ask or suggest it, I did put in 2 Eater of Secrets. And no, they don't help much.
Mostly because almost every. single. one. of those Mages had the exact same cards at the start. They start with Kabal Lackey + Secret, draw a secret with Mad Scientist or Arcanologist, and play Kirin Tor Mage + Secret. But the biggest problem was, that I've lost count how many times they would topdeck Fireball or Cloud Prince, or a combination of those back to back, once they've reached 5 mana. Yes, they draw a lot of cards too, but at that point, they'd at best have 15 cards remaining in the deck, oftentimes more.
Not just Mages that could topdeck lethal like it was programmed though. Like an Even Shaman dumping his entire hand with Diligent Notetaker and Totemic Surge, but draws the second Totemic Surge, about the only card in his entire deck (most likely) to deal enough damage on his last chance before he would have lost his entire board.
I've lost probably around 15 games only because my opponent drew lethal before I could heal, at relatively early stages of the game (turn 5 or 6). It happened so often in such contrived and unlikely ways, that I begin to doubt how much of it is based on luck.
The absolute king of luckies was a Rogue. This guy played Necrium Blade, coined out Necrium Apothecary, gained the deathrattle of Deathwing, Dragonlord, smashed his weapon, and summoned the entire rest of his hand consisting of 8-10 cost dragons... This felt like a test dummy for a new adventure boss. No way in hell does this work more than once in a blue moon. No way in hell can you reach a high rank with a deck that banks 100% on the perfect roll, and without losing to more aggressive opponents (like 40% Secret Mage) constantly.
I get lucky too, from time to time. Maybe once in 4 or 5 games. But at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if someday, we get news about a tool that can manipulate your mulligan and draw. Or I'm just cursed. I'm not superstitious, but how can you get so trashed by RNG so many times in the exact same way?
But maybe that's just a sign that I should stay away from Wild. My MMR is probably so low now that my Star Bonus for next season drops to 8 or 7 (used to be 10, dropped to 9 a few months ago), at which point I might as well play Standard again.
This is an absurd thread. Sometimes RNG massively favours one player in a certain situation it's true, often it's you! Players tend to disregard when they get lucky themselves though and put it down to normal variance or skill instead.
Using theory of probabilities you can exclude absolutely any bad intention everyone ever had, did he kill the guy or did he randomly fall 15 times with his knife in the victims back??? The fact that i can always think whats the best card in my opponent deck that can turn the game around with a chance of 1 in 15, but this happens 50% of games speaks volumes. And of course the game isn't rigged in favor of one player or another, it is rigged to look spectacular, the Reno either does huge bad stuff or huge good stuff, if it would've whiffed randomly the card would not be played anymore, and so whiffing spells have low chance. The game needs to look spectacular in order to be played, and in order to feel spectacular normally super rare occurrences need to happen more often. In the end they even it out, but at times it can be frustrating. And you say oh, no probability, so rare, so... they never admitted to the 40 pack legendary rule, and it was a good thing but they would've have to admit with playing with the odds, why would they stop at getting a legendary odds and not go further. More than this their patent legal documents imply they have rigged matchmaking mechanisms especially built to increase sales, with examples they say they can match a player with a standard -weapon- against one that has a newer weapon, in order to convince the first to buy the new expensive weapon, same time making the ladder player feel good about their new purchase by matching him against players without said weapon.
There are several millions of individual games happening daily, meaning one-in-a-million (or three million) events happen to some players every day. You just happened to be that player.
That is the meaning of statistics. By your logic, because the odds of winning a lottery or getting struck by lightning are extremely low, it should never happen to anyone.
What people don’t understand about rng: if in the first game a very unlikely thing happens to them, the chances for it happening again in the next game are not influenced by it happening in the first game, because the two games are independent from each other. It wouldn’t be a proof for rigged rng even if the exactly same scenario with the same spells from Reno would happen in the next 10 games. It is unlikely, yes, but it is not more unlikely to happen again only because it happened before. Best example: Lotto. Even tough the chances for winning are 1 in 140 000 000, if you win with combination 145678, there is no benefit in changing the combination the next time. The chances for the exact same combination 145678 winning again are still 1 in 140 000 000, because each lottery draw is independent from the ones before. This might seem unintuitive, but it really isn’t. coinflip: in 10 flips, it is as likely to get 10 times heads as getting 5 times heads and 5 times number if the coin is perfectly balanced in weight. Because each flip is independent. The chances are 50:50 each throw, even if you had 30 or 100 or 1 billion heads in a row.
this is basic statistics. Maybe instead of complaining about “rigged” rng in a video game, you should do some maths exercises...
Why would blizzard specifically program that, whenever Reno is against a Galakrond, Reno's random spells analyse the board state and actively decide what would be a good spell? An AoE would be bad if the mage had more minions than you. Deciding this would be far too much effort. We know that Zephrys isn't perfect, and he only needs to choose between basic/classic cards.
Also: If it were rigged towards reno against galakrond, then cases such as what you're suggesting would literally happen all the time. And everybody would be talking about it. And this, clearly, isn't the case; you're the only one complaining about this, out of millions of players and billions of games. Surely that's proof enough for you to know that it was just bad luck?

Losing because youre bad isnt an option?
Lol
Pathetic.

Yes, you’re right. It’s probably bill gates and 5G that initiated this entire thing. Damn lizard people

That’s why top legend players don’t play rng decks.
