Nice, I will try it. I am doing decent with Spell only Mage but haven't played enough games yet to get good statistics or climb the ladder. Will report back later, currently 4 Platinum (7-3). I think people might be sleeping on Mage after the expansion.
2. I liked it at first but after some play time I ended up taking out of my spell only Mage deck. The problem is... that is all it does. So you are trading early momentum for a potential benefit later and I don't think that Mage can take the early hit. IMHO you have to stay on the throttle all the time early and mid game. The only time I felt it had the right value was when I could play it turn 2 if I had no other turn 2 play.
I am wavering on that spell now. Maybe spell only Mage has the legs to last long enough to reap the rewards. That it affects so many cards and quickens when you can play cards every turn and even how many you can get off late game is likely worth it.
Ignore what I said. Reducing the spell cost is even better than gaining a Mana crystal because it lasts the whole game, not just until you reach 10 Mana crystals. And it's every spell not just once a turn. Way better. I am using 2 of these in my spell only Mage deck and regret posting otherwise lol.
and played exactly zero mages in diamond. Lost to kripp at diamond 3.

Congrats! Two questions:
1. How good was Solarian Prime? I haven't gotten him to go off yet.
2. Given how spell-heavy this version is, what do you think about the inclusion of that new 2-mana spell that reduces cost of all spells by 1?

Thanks!
1. On average, a better yogg. He would usually clear opponent's board and play a secret or two.
2. This deck only has 13 spells so I don't think Incanter's flow would do much, pretty much a dead draw.
Thanks!

Gotcha. I’ve been playing the deck and it’s gotten me to diamond 8! (I was stalling out on 10, especially day one when I refused to play DH...)

Big druid seems terrible matchup now with galaxy gone. Any tips ?
