Its a pretty solid deck so far. It has many value against Control and isnt that bad against aggro. If you are afraid of Murloc Pala you have good aoe and bord clear (but i dont think Murloc Pally its that strong of a deck;just a highroll deck). If you face a lot of murloc decks in general you can tech in a Hungry Crab
Personaly i love the new Reno Card but i wish it would do 15 dmg instead of 10.
Reno Mage is a blast in wild, if that tickles your fancy. Zephrys+Kazakus+OG Reno+New Reno is a powerhouse, it really awakened my interest in playing wild.
It's only taken me to rank 15 so far, so it's still possible that it will stagnate at higher ranks. My deck has a lot of memes, I think a more competitive list will be able to do quite well.
It's amazing. I played a few games and first puzzle box cast Myra's and deleted my deck, second time it pyro'd my own face to give lethal on board for opponent. So actually, it's amazing if u are super lucky.
I disagree, the deck is insanely good with multiple win conditions. I think some players struggle with it because of the lines in the deck are harder to predict and make consistent decisions.
For example against BC shaman the best thing to do it keep the board clear and always trade instead of chipping, since they will heal. Just hold steady and OTK them late game with some combination of Alex, FB Archmage and 5mana Pyro.
Sure it' gets beat to RNG, but that's over half this game. The deck is fun but hard to pilot to its highest potential. That said I have 2 players on my friends list that achieved legendary with it on very good WR and have completed multiple 12w brawls (including myself) with the deck.
I want to suggest a new name for the deck: A Single Wish
I'm with Skyi101 on this one. I think that there are a lot of decisions to be made and the deck has a high learning curve/requires a great deal of familiarity--- but once the meta settles and the lists of what you're playing against becomes more clear/familiar, I think it's a tier 1 deck easily when in the right hands.
The deck can beat aggro and midrange with a good draw. People save zeph way too much but he is a tempo card when he used as such and is very effective. Some matches are decided by a puzzle box, which is awful, but isnt any different than a lot of high rng decks. It's a high skill cap deck otherwise and can be tweaked easily. You can beat any deck with lunas if that's the style of Reno you're playing. Flame ward is very strong early, reno is a nice card too.
I don't have a single lose to this deck with my Highlander Hunter... When I watch Thijs play that deck it looks pretty good, but in my experience facing this deck it does not perform as good as it looks.
I have a 69% winrate with about 200 games and its better in practice than on paper. Depends on how much dust you're willing to spend, but some of the cards are good stand alone cards anyways that will be used in mage for awhile.
It definitely is good enough to be played on the ladder, and what is more important, it is one of the most fun decks in a loooong time:) It does struggle against some decks, though. Control warrior seems like an auto loss if you don’t get Luna’s out early. Also hyper aggro can steamroll it since there is a lack of early game removal that is not Doomsayer.

It looks so fun, but how viable is it, specifically against Murloc paladin which seems to be among the most popular decks right now?
It has a high winrate on HSReplay. I don't get why, honestly. It does not look like a strong deck and I've never lost vs it.
It is not a very good choice against Murloc Paladin, though.
Murlock paladin is a dog-shit vs anything that have board clear...

It's very fun but not really competitive, doesn't have a real win condition.

its pretty good, can create some really strong board states since Calling just carries the class
