I think you need more punch late game since your spells and 4 dmg spell damage minions are probably not enough damage. So I would definitely add a Antonidas as well, or maybe Leroy. I tried with a similar deck which had questing adventurers and banana guys and Antonidas (but no unexpected results and no spell damage ppl). And when you are going to summon minions Khadgar seems promising as well?
The adventurers really synergize with banana's and cyclone turns and in no-time you have an improved mountain giant.
Had ok results except against warrior who can just get out-of-reach with all the armor gain and removal.
It's a start but there is much room for improvement. For example, Khadgar seems a great fit with Unexpected Results. Azerite Elemental or Celestial Emissary also look like good options for a Spell Damage kind of deck. Maybe you can even include a Dragon package with Kalecgos and Malygos. Looking forward to test out this deck post-buffs :)
Okay so I was playing something similar today, and I noticed that Azerite Elemental's effect is continuous, which means it gets +2 spell damage every turn. I eventually killed my opponent with a 27 damage Arcane Missiles xd
Most people probably already knew this, but I have literally never seen this card. I like finding things out like this :)
Yeah I goofed around with spell power mage awhile back and I REALLY liked Azerite Elemental. I tried to make Arcane Watcher and Spellbook Binder work but I just found it too difficult to keep spell power minions on the board. I like your list (particularly the cyclone focus) more than mine.
Elemental Evocation [/card] has two good targets in this deck and it would do more good than [card]mirror image. Mana cheating a 4\3 with +2 spellpower isn't a minor thing for a burn plan and it always great to have it for a Mana Cyclone turn
I'd add Antonidas and Elemental Evo x2, as mentioned before. Fireballs should be cut as they cost too much mana, not sure what else. Other than that it looks good for me, but warrior being popular and super hard match up for this kind of deck may hold it back.
I included all good tempo spells from 0 to 3 mana and 10 minions that can be devastating when cost only 1 mana, especially Archmage Antonidas and Malygos, but all of them can produce terryfying combos, what do you think?
After the buffs were announced (just minutes ago), my first impulse was to create a deck containing Unexpected Results. This is what I came up with:
It's basically a mix of cyclone mage and burn mage. What are your thoughts on it? Have you come up with anything similar?
Note: the deck would need some testing of course, especially regarding wether I want to run more spell damage 2 drops (such as Mana Reservoir, Spellshifter, Kobold Geomancer) or not. Might also toy with Spellbook Binder and Arcane Watcher (although I suspect those are a tad worse)

I second antonidas, you already got enough cheap spells to get some extra reach out of it, and with AI it will be better.

I didn't know, that's great haha. It might make the cut after all.

Since I love tempo mage, and don't really fancy all that much new giants versions, I've been tinkering with this archetype since RoS came out.
Unexpected Results is getting buffed, but Luna's Pocket Galaxy is buffed as well, so how bout giving that spell a chance:
