Hearthpwn

I've had Archmage Arugal and Book of Specters in my collection for a while now and I've always liked Dragon decks with Alexstrasza and I wanted to see how well it could work when put together. So far the results are actually pretty good so I've put up a deck and would love some suggestions to improve it further. The most obvious card to add is probably Hex Lord Malacrass, sadly I currently don't own him so I want to try things out a bit more before I commit the dust to crafting him.

Mossy Horror has helped against token decks, murlocs coming back from Soul of the Murloc and against Mosh'Ogg Enforcer. It is a bit of tech card but it has performed well enough so far that it can stay for now.

Doomsayer can be tricky without Frost Nova and many of the minion spots have to be Dragons to enable enough synergy.

Replacements I'm considering:

-1 Nightmare Amalgam
+1 Conjurer's Calling

Conjurer's Calling is insanely strong on Mountain Giant, but also great on any poor statted & high mana minion such as Astromancer. Depending the board you can trade first and then cast it on the damaged minion. This does add one spell to the deck but I haven't had issues with Book of Specters yet.

+1 Proud Defender

Adds a bit more early defense. If nothing else is on the board a 4/6 Taunt for 4 is a great play.

I'm also considering adding in weapon removal to help against Wrenchcalibur / Supercollider, not sure yet what it could replace though.

Thanks, I've seen that deck as well. I don't have Khadgar or Kalecgos sadly (and spending the dust on them this early feels risky). The Sunfury Protector it runs is interesting. I suppose it could replace Nightmare Amalgam.
