So I decided, to build, a Big Spell Mage, as I have most of the cards, that are needed, and have plenty of dust. The cards, that are missing, are Dragoncaller AlannaAlexstraza and Sindragosa
I think I will craft Alexstraza for sure, but can't decide between the other two, and I don't wanna craft both of them.
So in your opinion, which card should I run, in my deck?
P.s I wanna know about, your own opinions, and experiences, and not about the current statistics:))
Out of those three I put Alanna first and then sindragosa much farther down. I mostly played before witcheood tho and the standard rotation, although I do still sometimes play the deck. I have alex and have never tried it. I don’t think it’s necessary at all, all though probably a much safer craft in general, especially cause it’s classic
Isn't Big Spell Mage kind of lame in Standard? But anyhow Dragoncaller Alanna is prolly your best bet as Sindragosa can have pretty crappy outcomes, BUT Sindragosa can fit in a bit more decks unlike Dragoncaller. Still if you're going for Big Spell Mage then I would definitelly go with Dragoncaller. *sheez* the word Dragoncaller is a damned long word.

Yes, I know, that Big Spell Mage is not the best currently, but I have literally all the decks, that are present on the ladder, and I got bored with them. I hope, the nerfes, are shaking up the meta, a lot.
I'd go with Sindragosa, personally. I can count the number of situations in my experience where Dragoncaller Alanna seemed like an optimal play on one hand. It has some use against Spell Hunter (post Deathstalker Rexxar drop) when you risk losing to inevitability, but how many matchups are you really looking for board presence? Most control decks are going to be holding AOE clear at that point because you don't have the minion presence to have forced it earlier. Against aggro or midrange... If you can afford to make a 9-mana play that doesn't affect the board, it's probably a win more card.
Sindragosa at least gives you value and a water elemental ping target in control matchups.
I hit legend last month playing control mage. I found sindragosa better in most of the matchs. I did not even run Allana because she was useful only in mirror matches which were so rare.
It is a very fun archetype to play so I wish you all the best
I cut Dragoncaller a while back. I just never seemed to get value out of her. Either by that point in the game, I had it won already, and it maybe forced a concede, or, it just got wiped one way or the other.

Hey, Everyone,

Yes, and I really wanted to craft Alex, for a long time

Did you run Alex, in your deck?

Now ... here me out here :-)
Try running The Darkness. You can thank me later.
It wrecks spiteful decks with the candles.
It gives your Raven Familiar better odds of winning the joust.
It gives you a solid finisher.
I actually put it in my deck as kind of a meme, and I can tell you it has won me more games than Allana ever did
I wanna glide down, over Mulholland
I wanna write her, name in the sky
I wanna free fall, out into nothin'
Gonna leave this, world for awhile
I didn't run Alex... Just a ton of board removal, taunts, skulking geist, 2 weapon removals, doomsayers, pollys and dolls
