Hey guys, I've been playing Secret Mage this season and the more you play a deck the more you understand how to play it against the meta. What are your favorite Secret Mage moments or decks to play against?
For me personally, it is playing Mirror Entity turn 5 against a Hunter and stealing his Highmane almost every time.
Anyone else has a favorite moment with Mirror Entity or another secret? I'd be happy to keep this list updated for tips!
I played a ton of secret mage back when I first started playing the game during Naxxramas. Handlock was the most popular deck, and mage was the least played class, so nobody had any clue how to play around mage secrets. I would quite regularly have something like t3 kirin tor mage/mirror entity, handlock drops a giant, then t4 polymorph it and just wreck them.
Also, a well-timed counterspell is one of the most satisfying things ever.
When I accurately guess every single secret and demolish the mage. Crushed one yesterday with midrange paladin, he had to use all burn on minions, I finished with 28 hp after face tanking his arcanologist after popping second ice block

If your can Kabal Lackey and then play Counterspell Turn 1 you have a chance of countering The Caverns Below, although they can coin to check for Counterspell. It is safer to save it until they complete the quest in hopes of countering Crystal Core
vs. Shamen:
vs. Warrior:
vs. Warlock:

Basically RNG your way to victory against terrible draw? That's some good shit, right there. Such skill is not a common sight.
If you say LUL in Twitch chat you are a moron. If you do it outside of Twitch - even more so!

Yes! Playing against a Mage and being able to accurately work around what secrets he has is definitely a must know when not playing the class!
My favourite moment is making Alex a 1/8 and healing 14 health with Pali.
