I play with many decks, rogue, mage, warrior and priest vs many decks, don't have a problem with any class except hunter, vs anything else I don't feel like I get free wins or hopeless with any chance of victory but everytime I play vs hunter my decks get smashed into pieces, this month if I have 10% winrate vs them is much.
Every single card in the class is insanely undercosted and have a massive effect for cheap cost, from turn 1 to 10.
Just compare some cards to understand my point:
10 manas spell shaman get 3 5/6 taunt minions don't do anything in the turn was summoned vs 4 3/5 minions can attack face and the shaman spell have overload making a 13 manas cost spell, why? Why hunter have a better spell for cheap?
Mage and priest can't have 1 mana 1/3 minion anymore but hunter can have with a massive ability in the early game, why?
Hunter can have minions with overpowered abilities when combined with the hero power getting value and massive damage for free at the same time when damaging the opponent but other classes don't have, why?
Hunter have an exclusive highlander card so broken they don't care for the Alex nerf at the same time other highlander classes become unplayable, why?
2 manas 5/4 charge, 5 manas 6/5 kill a big minion, this one is so freaking good and undercosted put the old Vilespine in garbage tier, why?
Instead nerfing DH for the fourth time they should nerf hunter instead for a change...
I’ve always enjoyed playing hunter but hate facing it because I feel like I’m on a timer that can just go boom any second.
it’s frustrating for sure. I often thought of ways to soften the blow and think it would be really nice idea if each class had multiple hero powers that were random on different games. I know this adds a bit of rng and a lot of people hate that aspect but I’ve always found the hunter hero power so oppressive when playing control decks.
Pretty sure not many people agree but it’s my opinion and just wanted to express it :)
It is an aggressive deck that punish slow deck but unfavor vs better aggressive decks. Thats why they come out when DH got nerf after nerf. Nothing new here
Hunter is definitely OP and due to it’s current design, it always will be. This nature of this game favours tempo plays, high damage output and quick, low cost plays on curve, which is unfortunately the only design Hunter has been given. Until there is a focus on long term plays, be it combo or something more strategic, Hunter will just keep hitting face as it’s single strategy.
It’s beyond boring seeing the same play style from them each expansion as their core cards are powercrept over and over. Their core set is too aggressive and interchangeable in most decks and their damage output is too high.
I don't get the post, yeah Highlander Hunter is really good with the correct draw and the correct match-up.
But, apart from Undertaker Deathrattle Hunter, Hunter has never been totally dominant and meta-warping.
Hunter is good at SMORC but has it's weaknesses: almost no draw and no AoE's.
Also, the cards are referenced here in their best scenario: there are downsides and ways to play around those cards. Vs Dragon Hunter you don't play one big minion on turn 5-6, because of Rotnest Drake but against a wide board Hunter is almost helpless.

in wild, Hunter is total garbage class.
Yes but in Standard is insanely overpowered.

IDK... I still play Secret hunter in Wild and can still climb past Plat lol. Most of the time the other guy just gets annoyed and quits.

Look at the current meta.
"AhaA!"
Literally just you
Things changes a lot in the months I posted this topic, Brann was nerfed and rogue become the hyper aggressive class.
Hunter don't get much and the presence is little to nothing this days.
