What's the secret with this deck being supposedly playable? Winrate is like 30% and playing 1 card per turn just doesn't keep up with anything. Maybe it's just a luck issue like most things in HS?
It was easy as hell to reach legend with it this season. The deck is really versatile, I played one with dragons and tempo cards. It can contest aggro decks with the right cards, outvalue/tempo slower decks and it has tons of damage.

What list are you using? How many matches have you played with it? What classes were you facing? At which rank? Can you post a few replays?
I'm asking all these questions because if your wr with highlander hunter is 30%, it's probably your fault, not a luck issue.

If you don't even know what the stardard list apart from a few flex cards is then you are clearly not qualified to answer any questions regarding playing it.

How am I supposed to know what exact list you're using? There are plenty of people that play in a budget, make replacements and then complain that the deck doesn't perform as it should. Or that don't play the most up to date list because they don't keep up with stuff like tournaments or high ranked play.
If you're playing the standard list and your winrate is ~30%, it's most likely your fault. And the fact that you are so defensive about it, didn't answer any of my previous questions and blame it on luck only reinforces my assessment.
Really depends on the meta. I have a 60% win rate with the free deck from the game (made some adjustments against druid). 40 wins, 27 losses, but losing mostly around rank platinum 1-3 now.
The fact that you verbally attack a person who's trying to help and you consider all things around HS a "luck issue" tells me you have no idea about the game whatsoever. So good lluck trying to find what's wrong with your playstyle and yourself.
I am trying my own whipped up version of Reno/NZoth/Zuljin hunter and its fun but very streaky. Im sitting at platinum 3-5 right now with it. It gets run over badly by Murloc shaman and usually Recruit Paladins. It doesnt do well against Secret Mage or even spell mage. It wrecks Demon Hunters. Warriors, most Rogues & many other Hunters. Card draw is a problem and and of course having what you need when you need it is a huge issue with this deck. Druid & priest are about 50/50.
Zephyrs and Reno dont always help like you think they will. They feel like "win more" cards versus "save your ass" cards or whatever. I use a secrets package for early game, Kazakus Golem & then some deathrattles like Khartut, Tonk, and Sylvanas. I also run Rexxar for longer games. Not a great deck by any means but fun to play. Im sure the "legend worthy" version of highlander hunter is nothing like mine though.
With highlander hunter I have noticed that it lacks any good clears, plays low number of cards per turn, has weak swings and as it has been said before Zephrys and Reno aren't as useful as they seem.
Also I have been having mixed feeling about Rexxar DK, I either won without using it and often it was too slow to actually help me win. I was running Zul'Jin with Nagrands, Call of the Wild etc. I have given up for now for Reno Hunter it started to get trashed by anything. I was playing it around ranks D5.

"Minion to minion the basic of all combats, only a fool trusts his win to an OTK"
Im playing my own version of HL Hunter with a few cards from each of the posted lists above & a few of my own. I do run an early game secret package and Mankrik. I use Play dead versus Feign death as often I need just one deathrattle to go off - like Sylvanas on Turn 7. :). I got rid of The 9-mana Dragon that discovers two-dragons for zero cost. Just didnt do enough at 9 mana and sometimes the two dragons were crappy. I removed Jewel because if I survive that long I can wait another few turns and just drop NZoth. Stitched tracker is a must, IMO to get a second Zephrys, Reno, Dino Tamer, etc. I run that 5 mana Applebaum taunt/4 heal too. It helps with aggro which is still an issue for this deck if you can answer boards. Albatross is great against just about any deck and is a decent 4/3 body for 3 mana. The deck is good enough to compete though.
I reached D4 this season with it which for me is solid. Im happy with that. If I had faired a little better against Damned murloc shaman or dude Paladin I probably could have hit legend. Those two decks give me fits though. Below is my current list which I hope to get at least back to D5 with this season if not further.

Lol OP asks for help. You try to help, and he says you are unqualified, yet he has a 30% win rate with a well-proven decklist.
this.....
