Token druid is indeed a tough matchup, but I haven't had enough experience facing Khadgar mages to gauge how tough that would be. Personally, I would cut the Necromechanic, 1 x Unleash the Beast, Multishot, 2 x Marked Shots, and Explosive for 2 x Springpaws, 2 x Headhunter's Hatchet, Zilliax, and Houndmaster Shaw. This will give you more early-game defense, and Shaw and Zilliax are both good cards in general. Zilliax is VERY good against aggro, and he can also be used offensively against control. Shaw is a premium 4 drop that can help you make trades against aggro and get your control opponents to waste their precious removal. They aren't dead draws against any matchup, unlike stuff like Necromechanic, which is too slow against aggro, or Explosive, which is useless against control decks. Happy hunting! I hope this helped.
Mecharoo have bad synergy with Oblivitron better run Springpaw. Not sure about the Vinomizer better run Unleash the Hounds. And of course run Ziliax, drop Multishot for him.
I also use Mech Hunter as my deck for laddering this season and find it very good. Rank 1 and going for legend.
Mecharoo is not a good card in this deck. Sure, it's an extra early game, but it's a dead draw and it messes up your Oblivitron and Nine Lives pool. You 100% need Zilliax, it's just probably the best card ever printed. Multi-Shot is not that great especially when you already have Marked Shot. Secret Plan isn't that great either, I prefer Springpaw. I don't like Venomancer or Necromechanic, but if they work for you then go for it.
If you want some tech, I like to run a few Deadly Shots to take care of turn 3 giants, and it's pretty good against druid for turn 4 Archmage Vargoth as well. The issue against Druid is that you have no good way of dealing with a wide board, so you have to slowly clear the wisps while developing a massive board through Oblivitron and Mechanical Whelp. Against Khadgar Mage, you have to apply pressure constantly. You know they don't have Polymorph, so go ham with your magnetics. If you keep putting pressure, you will be in a spot where your opponent can't just play Giant without tanking a load of damage. If they do get their combo off, it's near impossible for your deck to come back unless you just have lethal.
Oblivitron Hunter is an interesting and entertaining deck. It somewhat resembles Cube Hunter from the previous meta. Unfortunately, the meta right now isn't very friendly for Oblivitron Hunter, and similarly to Cube Hunter, it will need some time or a meta shift to come back on scene. Lackey Rouges are a bad matchup. Currently there's no enough good early game taunts, plus - in order to throw bombs mid-late game, you're sacrificing early game. Therefore, players are switching to faster mechs. Just include bunch of cheap class and neutral (magnetizing and goblin bomb producing) mechs and you're ready to go.
If you would really like to go with Oblivitron I can suggest you maybe to include Safeguard.

So after reviewing everyone’s suggestions, this is the updated one. I decided to keep some of my spells to take out some bigger minions while retaining board control, kept explosive shot to try and counter some token druid. Again, any advice on the original or updated would be greatly appreciated! Thank you again. # 2x (1) Springpaw # 1x (1) Tracking # 2x (2) Bomb Toss # 1x (2) Explosive Trap # 2x (2) Fireworks Tech # 2x (2) Headhunter's Hatchet # 1x (2) Hunter's Mark # 2x (3) Animal Companion # 2x (3) Deadly Shot # 2x (3) Nine Lives # 2x (3) Spider Bomb # 2x (3) Ursatron # 2x (4) Marked Shot # 1x (5) Necromechanic # 1x (5) Zilliax # 2x (6) Mechanical Whelp # 1x (6) Oblivitron # 1x (6) Unleash the Beast # 1x (10) Zul'jin
ps. I cannot craft another legendary at the moment, due to dust limitations, Zilliax was my last big guy.

Hi! I’m fairly new to the game (started in october 2018). I’m looking for some advice for which cards to place in my Deathrattle Mech Hunter deck. I’m primarily having trouble with token druid or khadgar summoning mage. Thanks for suggestions
