With the release of Cybertech Chip we can now double down on Infest effects and it was one of the first things I wanted to explore from the new expansion. Drawing heavily from our Zero Hunter deck the goal is to explode with cheap minions and put down insurance on them for when disaster inevitably strikes. Starting at 0-mana Murloc Tinyfin & Snowflipper Penguin combo not only with Chip & Infest but also with Hobgoblin & Zoobot. This deck has a super low curve that gets even lower because it also doubles up on the mech discounters, Mechwarper and the new Boomsday card Galvanizer. Metaltooth Leaper has been waiting in the wings for another high powered mech set and it's definately his time to shine. This team buffer goes great with a couple go-wide mechs, Explodinator & Replicating Menace. Topping off the curve is of course the best insurance plan in Hearthstone, Deathstalker Rexxar.
I was a believer in the Chip at first since it's one of our only options for hand-refill, but after running it for awhile I've given up on it. The results are just too random and in many cases it sits in your hand as a dead card as you struggle to build a board big enough to make it worthwhile. Or in some cases I couldn't empty my hand fast enough to prevent overdrawing. There are some great mechs you can pull but there are more mediocre/bad ones.
