So I just hit legend in Wild with Secret Hunter! Edited this post to give my new decklist and let people know. I went on a 22 win streak from rank 9 to 3 and had a blast playing this deck. Please try it out!
Do you ever get much value out of Putricide? I mean, sometimes he’ll be played but die before you can get a secret off, sometimes he’ll deploy something that’s irrelevant in the current game, sometimes he’ll deploy a secret you would have played yourself the next turn leaving you with unspent mana, sometimes he’ll deploy a worthwhile secret but the game will end before it matters.
Shudderwock means driving a clown car in circles around your opponent while he swings his sword at you. Half the time he chops you and your car to pieces. The other half you park on his legs and 40 clowns come out one by one, trampling him to death.
Putricide is really bad, i tried him so often and i play secret hunter since it saw the light of life. Dont run too many secrets. Subject 9 is really good, minimum draw was 3. Right now my list looks like this:

Fair point. I just find that he's a good body for his effect and many of the secrets are great. Definitely not necessary if you don't have him.
In other news, I've climbed from rank 10 to 6 with the deck just this morning! It's working phenomenally well against the current wild decks, particularly mill rogue.
I'm playing a Secret Hunter deck in Wild, and I'm loving Secret Plan. It is so vital to have a secret to play on Turn 2. Choosing the secret you need is amazing. The deck's doing pretty well. My deck uses Secret Keepers but not Subject 9.
I think Snipe is important in the meta. My last game against a Kingsbane Rogue, I Sniped her first Coldlight, and she could not recover. She obviously had Shadowstep in her hand, too, LMAO. They can't deal very well with Cat Trick and Rat Trap.

I think you're right. I left out Snipe but the few times I've generated it, I've been pretty happy with the results. I may have to test it.
People really need to try this out! Just hit rank 1 and at one point was on a 22 win streak all the way from rank 10 to rank 3. Only change I've made is to add a Snipe as Ehronatha suggested
There doesn't seem to have many threats, how do you win against control with healing?
Deathstalker Rexxar is the way to go. Tracking and Subject 9 thin your deck, letting you get it fairly consistently. I will sometimes keep it in mulligan if I feel I really need it. It's a one card win condition. Just hit legend with the deck and I found that my best matchups were against Odd Pally, Even Shaman, Pirate and Control Warrior and Tempo Mage while my worst were against Renolock, Big Priest and OTK Druids due to them being able to just sit back and then win with huge win conditions. In those matchups, Rexxar isn't enough often to beat their boards of crazy stuff.

Legitimately on a 15 win streak with this deck. Rank 4 and pushing for legend hopefully!

Deathstalker Rexxar and Kathrena.

You must not have played against any Even Shamans.
Edit: or Combo Druids. Also dies to Aluneth Mage.
Great against Rogue, usually wins against Druid.
