So im actually thinking if its worth to run 2x Emerald Hive Queen as only minion in your deck.
The pro is, its an amazing 1 drop that can win you any early game, like Zombie chow. Also you will heavily mulligan for it so its likely you play both emeralds before the bow even hits.
The con it dissables your weapon but on the other hand thats a heavy lategame card maybe its not worth it to devote your whole deck around it. And arguebly a 1 mana 2/3 wins you more games than a 7 mana weapon with good effekt, thoughts....
People keep saying that this deck gets destroyed by Weasel Tunneler, but no deck plays Weasel Tunneler, and who in the world is going to tech in Weasel Tunneler to counter No-Spells Hunter??? This is a meme deck already, who's meme enough to counter it with a meme?

Check out my Earth, Wind, and Fire - Elemental Shaman deck!
I made this one right after release. I don't think any standard spellhunter deck will be especially viable with current cardpool.
That being said, To My Side! is probably a pretty strong card when the condition is met (in-counter to all the rage). Animal companion is a really strong spell at 3 mana, and while doble the cost for doble the effect isn't necessarily what a aggro class wants, its still cheap enough to be great. There is a 2/3 to get a huffercombo, a 4/2 charge + a 4/4 taunt to protect it for 6 mana is really good. Furthermore a (4+1)/2 charge + a 2/4 with an upside is also pretty good. Worst option is (4+1)/4 taunt + 2/4 with an upside, which is fine for 6 mana. The weapon is insane if you can pull of the effect. It doesn't matter if you get 1 or 2 uplayable spells, hunter is usually low on cards lategame, and you will usually play this so you get at least 6 spells for it, thats great value, and could fuel a finish.
I like that you guys are theorizing with some minions, but wouldn't it be too inconsistent? You generally want to close the game asap, and the odds are more often that not you won't be able to play To my side and the weapon for full value. IMO if it's going to work you either need an strong early package with Hemet or go full spell.

With Candleshot being confirmed to give your Hero Immunity when attacking, I prefer that and secrets for early game over a minion/Hemet method. Gonna test out Pure Spell Hunter.
I like the idea of a full spell list however there is just not enough support for that. To my side is bad and offers not enough unfairness for the limitation so basically you just put no minions into the deck to play the Legendary weapon.
I think hunter is more in a transition state, itll run more spell heavy with more secrets and the Spellstone (Which is a good card) and flanking strike. Question is which minions are good enough to be played with that.
Idea would be stay alive early with anoying spells weapons, play Barnes and oozes for kinda ramp and insane turns. the minions should draw each other out of the deck pretty fast, verry lategame you can finish with rexar or rokh delar when enabled. i like this way most atm i think. Thoughts...

Nice list! Think this a really innovative suggestion!

Might as well play some Hunter's Mark if Candleshot.
I don't know, feel like Candleshot gives both more control and tempo, since its almost like 3 pings (except can't ignore taunt). Hunter's Mark is by comparison one full on ping (can ignore taunt), and a 1/1 beast which has to do a lot of damage to face, or stop a high damage attack to be better. Hunter's Mark would have been a clearer choice if there was a Crackling Razormaw followup, Kill Command synergy alone is not enough.
Haha, yeah true! For some reason i though he was talking about On the Hunt, my bad for presuming without bothering to mouseover!
Talking the real Hunter's Mark, it could possibly be good in combination with Candleshot ironically, but i don't think spellhunter needs a debuff semiremoval over a playable turn 1 card. 2 x Candleshot are the only real 1 drops in this deck (Tracking doesn't count). In general I have always felt that Hunter's Mark does to little for using up a card in a class that has so limited card generation and draw. But I might be wrong.
Edit: changed the word combo to combination to avoid confusion.
No love for Piranha Launcher? :D
I like Piranha Launcher tbh, but will feel too clunky with the much better weapons the class has access to now :/

What about the new hunter legendary? Add her to help find that last Hive Queen. I like this version though much more than hemet.

And yet none of you is using Tundra Rhino + Lesser Emerald Spellstone, it's 14 dmg for 10 mana, great finisher.
Also here's my list, I'm aware the deck will probably be a meme so I went full on meme

Tracking might help getting rid of the few early game minions later on.
I had another Idea, maybe we shouldnt look at Big hunter and Spell hunter seperated, maybe its the same deck.

I think you're confusing Hunter's Mark with On the Hunt
Spell Hunter is legit guys. Very fun deck to play.
