eh...last time hunter got nice things huntertaker happened, if a class is going to be bottom of the barrel a lot of us are fine with it being the one with the heropower that heavily encourages smorc gameplay.
ps: is till think hunter needs a decent boardclear.
I think some are missing that team5 have to build around certain overarching design choices.
A previous poster suggested that by making an intentionally bad (actually 2) hunter epic, blizz is keeping hunter a ftp friendly class. This could also help new players understand what a bad card is when they get it and try it out, prompting them to use the crafting system more confidently.
So are you going to complain that it’s not fun to lose constantly if you stray from any decent decks? I find it perfectly fine to not win all the time with the weird decks I make. I just don’t go around assuming my deck is going to win, and basing my enjoyment purely off of whether I win or lose.

Yeah I completely agree, and I enjoy playing fun decks not expecting to win as much as the next guy. Except at least some fun decks put up a fight before getting blown out. Like to even play this card you have to live until turn 6 hunter, which does not sound too bad except that hunter's early board control is based entirely on minions. Don't get me wrong it could be a sleeper purify and become good in a year, however, I highly doubt it considering the circumstances.
In my opinion hunter NEEDS a legit board clear. Beyond that, I don't think the new legendary will be viable until there is a 2 mana deathrattle taunt minion that can keep you and yourCorpse Widow alive for a turn.
Lol I see this kind of thread every year. "Hey Blizzard we are the *insert hero main* players and we want you to do what we say!"
And then they slowly get cards for a key deck that will dominate the meta for the next half-a-year. See: Shamanstone 2016, Prieststone 2017
Shaman and priest both started getting super strong cards almost immediately after people started complaining and after a couple expansions of this were right back in it. Hunter has never had a great expansion set of cards (seriously... look at the garbage hunter has had released since the classic set. The best expansion was I guess kharazan. And that was still just decent) and people have been complaining about this since the buzzard nerf. 3 years ago. Blizzard just doesn’t like the class, it’s not going to happen.
I don't see what's the big fuss about. Yes, the card is crap, but plenty of classes have gotten useless cards before, even epic ones.
Just because Hunter got one unplayable card doesn't mean it won't be viable in the meta. It has plenty of other class cards to choose from.
The last time people were this outraged, it was over Purify, but that was slightly more justified because there are only so many class cards in an Adventure and spending one slot on a meme card, for a class that was already in the bottom tier, was insulting.
In Wild there isn’t too much of a problem with surviving until then, because that’s where all the good low cost cards Hunter uses is. Big Bad Wolf is nice and all, but it’s got nothing on Haunted Creeper.
i was wondering why hunters had the least amount of released cards, and then i see this. they ruined hunters in WoW and obviously this team wants hunters where they want them to be, bottom tier.
seriously, are some people in this thread claiming that they dont want to give hunters playable cards because of the F2P aspect of the game? realy? thats your argument?
no it's not. Blizzard has stated multiple times that the reason they don't give Hunter great cards is because of how powerful it is on lower ranks and how it only really falls off at Legend rank.
Remember when he got Call of the Wild and it had to be enrfed within one expansion because of how fucking broken it was and how it inflated Hunter's winrate?
Hunter's been my main class and I've been playing it for the majority of pretty much every expansion (except Gadgetzan...shit was impossible back then)
I mean, do you even realize how broken a card needs to be to make Hunter better than they already are? Don't remember how KIng Krush is a 7 mana 9/9 that can prevent enemies from playing taunt or other defensive minions....that guy wasn't good enough for Hunter. Remember Deathstalker Rexxar, a card that adds a decent boardclear, health gain and most of all infinite resources to a class desperately lacking said things...yet it's still not powerful enough for HUnter.
Before Hunter can ever receive more powerful cards that actually help with their weaknesses and enable playstyles other than just playing on curve until someone dies then Blizzard would need to rework their basic and classic set...and we all know that there's one thing Blizzard doesn't do in this game: Rebalance cards. They only nerf stuff when it's limiting the meta. They'd never care about making old stuff more playable.
TL;DR Hunter will never change because Blizzard just doesn't care enough about their roots to actually change the fundamentals of how the class is forced to be played. If you're gonna complain about something, complain about their approach to balance and how they handle things that don't directly translate into hard cash.

Crushing Walls doesn’t seem unplayable to me. Looks like it’d be an enjoyable one to use really.

TBH I am ok if
1. the card lets you choose the animal companions
2. the card was released in a set in which it had a lot of support for such no minion/ few minion hunter
3. hunter wasn't the least played card above pleb ranks.
but releasing while hunter is at the bottom WHILE priest got psychic scream?
I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN!
are you implying hunterstone 2018?
haven't hit legend yetim a good player :)Most favorite decks right now: 1. Spell Hunter | 2. Quest Warrior | 3.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
Blizzard must be shaking in their boots due to this 0,00001% playerbase hearthpwn riot
