I don't understand. The last VERY GOOD Hunter deck was Undertaker Hunter. Hunter has always been an aggressive class and has been for a long time. Playing midrange can be hard with Hunter, but I feel like it could be possible to make a Hunter deck (or 2) that can reach Legend.
Now, yes you can run To My Side with Highmane in a Control deck, but Highmane would have to be played way earlier. To My Side can also work with Quest Hunter, surprisingly. And yet again, the quest hunter deck would have to have a control feel to it, which I'm all for.
Quest Hunter requires 1 drops. 1 drops are minions. When you complete the quest, you get more 1 drops, which are also minions.
To my side doesn't work with quest Hunter. Surprisingly!
To my side doesn't work with anything. Even if Blizzard released good spells for Hunters. People will make a deck with those spells and good minions. No one will add "crap on my side" to the deck, EVER.
fair enough. But all I'm saying is that Hunters might be forced to play Reno-type games (long games), which I'm all for.
You will not be playing an all spell Hunter deck. Period.
Hunters cannot play long games, because they don't have the tools to do it. You know why? Because Blizz never gave them any playable options for late game. So, the class has to constantly play aggro style or make an aggressive mid-range deck.
You think people won't play a control Hunter? People like me and you have been waiting for years now. But Blizz never gave Hunters the proper tools for it. All they gave Hunters were low stated deathrattle minions without any valuable synergies. And now this crap of minionless Hunter. They are doing it on purpose, it has been clear for a while now.
All that because Hunter is oppressive below rank 20. BELOW RANK 20.
But they don't see oppressive decks such as Jade Druid dominating since it came out.
Razakus and Big Priest, which are literally autoplay. Because only an aggressive deck can be a mindless play but not decks like these cause they go past turn 6. And some of the community thinks they are actually playing a skill based deck. Hilarious.
Tempo Rogue, which got even stronger this expac.
Hunter is paying for how strong it was in the first year of HS. The class been bad since the nerf to COTW (Mid-Karazhan), September 2016, more then a year ago. And will be bad for at least another 4 months. Which will be 1.5 years for shafting a class.

Reno Hunter is a wild deck. Hunter might be decent or good in wild, I don't know. I don't play wild.
Competitive scene is not wild.
Hunter is crap in Standard and has been for a long time. It had a T2 deck when COTW was 8 mana. Nothing after that. MR Hunter is barely T3 and almost all pros say it is hardly T4. Same as deathrattle Hunter. Barely T4.

May I point out that Midrange Hunter is the same tier deck as Dragon Priest, which has the ability to reach rank 10 or higher. So does Midrange Hunter, but it will take more time than Dragon Priest. And explain to me how Play Dead Hunter is tier 4. This deck has the ability to beat Tempo Rogue, Jade Druid, and Evolve Shaman (if you can board clear well). And even with the Call of the Wild nerf, which wasn't necessary at all, Midrange Hunter and N'Zoth Hunter are still viable decks in this meta.
And may I also mention that Secret Hunter is tier 2 or 3 as well, in both standard and wild. Secret Hunter doesn't even require Call of the Wild cause you might just be playing secrets all day and going aggressive. Putricide in a Secret Hunter is good enough to counter Jade Druid, Recruit Paladin, Tempo Rogue, Evolve Shaman and possibly Razakus Priest in both formats.
Take a Stand would be fantastic in a Secret Hunter because you don't require Savannah Highmane as much as Midrange Hunter, from a Standard perspective. Double "Take a Stand" would be even better.
So again, Hunter will be more viable than ever in the next expansion, period.

Provide data for the decks you mentioned. Otherwise it's your opinion and that's about it.
Hunter is probably the worst class, even behind warrior who has a slow but viable deck in DMH. This has been said by pretty much all pros.
Looking at the fact that a deck can reach rank 10 means nothing. I reached rank 10 playing C'Thun Priest (when it was said it is one of the worst decks in the meta) and Control Pala, in a meta were Control Pala was a low T4 deck. I can do the same with MR Hunter, which I did. But as with C'Thun Priest and Control Pala, it is an extremely painful experience.
But what about above rank 10? Those decks were simply not viable. MR Hunter falls off extremely hard and I want to reach a higher rank then 10. My aim is rank 5 every season, which I have managed almost every season, with different classes and decks, almost with a T2 or lower deck, because I enjoy playing low tier decks, it makes me feel smarter. I haven't done that with Hunter in a long, long time.
So what above rank 10? No more Hunter? Every class should be viable till at least rank 2/3. By having a deck, aggro, MR, control, combo, whatever the fuck.
Blizz deliberately makes shit cards to make a class weaker. They have done it for almost all classes. But also gives them viable or semi-viable cards in the same expansion. Where are the cards for Hunters? They have been missing for the past few expansions now. MR Hunter hardly has any new card, the core of the deck is vanilla. Vanilla is 3.5 years old. Look at Priest, Druid, Rogue, Mage, Warrior, Shaman, Warlock, Paladin. How many vanilla cards to they play? Hunter is the class that plays the most. And people say it is an aggro class. Of course it is. They DIDN'T receive ANY cards to come up with any other style then aggro or aggressive MR.
Ignoring a class on purpose is bullshit. And making a card like To My Shit, is an insult to players, the community who has been designing creative Hunter cards for years now, only for them to be ignored, and not to mention a waste of card when opening packs, especially for FTP players.
This is all on Blizz and the community hates Hunters? It makes no sense. Cards like this should NOT exist, in any class, dominating the meta or not.

And even if the class is the worst, that doesn't mean you can reach legend with a deck from that class. You act like nothing can be done with a Hunter deck even though you did it yourself. Take a Stand is a good card, but it will take a mastermind to choose a deck that the card would fit in.
There is no need to boost hunter as it already got their fair share of buff-mechanics which made it even more aggressive.
We all know this OP deck - Handbuff Hunter, right? Token druid is more aggressive than Hunter atm.
No I'm not joking and my face is straight. And it is not about this is more agressive than that. Take a step back and see the whole meta is rigged to aggression. There's the imbalance for starters. If you can't play a decent control game because you are swept from the board, you know something is not right. Not only hunter is the problem, also aggro druid, zoolock, tempo rogue, murl paladin.
when priests play with patches and kelseth and BEAT HUNTERS IN AGGRO RACE, you can be sure somethings is wrong..

Yes sure. I don't remember the link. So I rebuilt for you the deck.
The deck is easy. You have [card]Tracking[/card], Stitched Tracker in order to find [card]Naga Sea Witch[/card]. After you have the Naga on board all your giants will be discounted from 5. So for example [card]Molten Giant[/card] costs, if you received 5 damages is 0, [card]Mountain Giant[/card] cost if you have 5 cards in hand is 0. So at end you are able to make your opponent concede because after you play the naga you are able to put like 3,4,5 giants in one turn at cost 0. Deathstalker Rexxar if you get screwed from a board clear and to control. All the other cards are for control the board and draw in order to find the Naga. [card]Mad Scientist[/card] because it is a draw in this deck and it will help to control and find the naga. King's Elekk because you can draw and it is a good minion.
thanks for this. I think I remember Kripp playing this deck, forgot if he was a Druid or Hunter. Either way, I'm gonna try and make this deck.
Which will be 1.5 years for shafting a class.
so tell me, why are Reno Hunter AND N'Zoth Hunter still viable? Those 2 decks have the ability to beat Tempo Rogue, period.
Barely T4.
In wild hunter has a good deck. Giants hunter. It is a strange deck but good. (it is tier 1). Pratically only this good deck has in standard and wild.
you are the first person to actually remind me of this deck. Mind sending me a decklist so I can see what the deck archetype is like :D

Yes exactly. The thing is that every class can play the giant deck. But the better is the hunter. Due to [card]Tracking[/card] and Stitched Tracker that are the better sources to find the [card]Naga Sea Witch[/card].
wouldn't this deck be good on Priest as well? Or am I bugging?

The first link you posted doesn't work. The second one shows Highlander Priest at T2 and big Druid as T1. When it's the other way round. It is following a win %. Which is the amount of people who has installed the app. It doesn't show all the players in HS. It's the same with other websites. If you go there they will show different win % and different decks as T1 and T2 and so on and so forth. And also win % is different at different ranks. Hunter is weak when you go above rank 10.
You said Hunter is in the meta. Of course, at lower ranks. Can show the win % or tier ranking of Hunters at high ranks? Compared to other classes? The real meta starts above rank 10, some say above rank 7. It is weak when it starts to matter. We all know the story about Hunters at lower ranks, it is not a secret and the real reason why Hunters are getting cards like "Make Me Shit".
I really don’t get why so many people are throwing a fit over this. I absolutely love playing Hunter, and really, I don’t see a problem with bad cards in the class. I play the class because it’s fun (imagine that) and a card doesn’t have to be the most amazing thing ever to be fun.
You are right, it doesn't have to be the most amazing thing ever. But 2 epics in the set and both are unplayable garbage. This is unacceptable!
To be honest, Crushing Walls is pretty good vs your average tempo deck. Hard coutners the typical "Bonemare with one more minion" shit, so you can ignore it on purpouse while further developing a board, then kill both and still have your board.
Not saying it's great, but at least can work.
That said, hunter needed a far better set. But well, I'm trying to make control hunter work anyways, and this time we can always Unleash the Wolves with secrets and so.

only reason why they printed this card. to make lich king fight easier
Tomas signs this, we need to build a wall between Team 5 and this game!
You guys are really going into the face of the issues here
I stand with you brothers.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
how does Putricide counter druids?
Playing control hunter before it was cool
I'm just going to say it: to my side is a fine card and it will see regular play in 2018.
