Tracking is bad in this kind of deck. Idk if you're looking for help or not but dismissing feedback isn't the way to get things done, even if the feedback isn't particularly helpful or complete.
if you play Tracking and get two of your required combo pieces, you lose. Play Lock And Load and/or the other Unleash instead.
With all the cheap spells, would it be worth using Lock and Load?
Lock and load could be played in this, but most of the time you're just clearing board or poking them down. I decided to cut it after finding I was just winning on my turn 7-8s. otherwise it would just be turn 5 lock and load and use a 3 mana spell since you save the direct dmg spells.
Also to clarify on tracking. I've played this deck over 100x (throughout a few different expansions like pre barnes and after barnes)and i've never revealed thaurisan and Malygos at the same time. And regardless, the deck has a fail safe which is direct dmg by your hero power. You also can just grab malygos and drop him when you know they don't have an answer for him if that ever becomes the situation.
Tbf the tracking options for me would be Barnes malygos and emperor
It makes you drill through the deck so much faster. Which is why you play 2 on the hunt, 2 arcane, and 2 quick. So in the case you tracking and lose like 3-4 of them you can at least do solid burst. Best case scenario you reveal one of your legendaries. Worst thing i've seen is revealing like barnes and another which in that case I just take which is more relevant.
Like if i have 10 mana, and i reveal thaurissan and barnes, I'll just take barnes and summon malygos for 4 mana and go ham. But always take Malygos unless you for some reason are winning the game without him.

I dismissed a troll, I also answered your post in another post if you want to check it. Btw before you ask how was he a troll, he gave a 9 word response criticizing something without explaining why he felt it sucked And/or didn't respond to the actual deck as a whole. He's also posted pretty negative things as threads.
Tracking is never bad.. even if you discard some combo piece you have plenty of damage spells.. and by tracking you can find so much faster your combo pieces.. discarding two bad cards from your draws is such a strong effect!!
I haven't played this deck, but tracking is clearly not bad in it. The chances of wrecking combo are insignificant and being able to dig 3 deep into deck is extremely valuable. Especially if you are searching for a final on the hunt or arcane shot on malygos turn....
Interesting. About the Tracking issue, it's viable because you need a lot of draw power (remember patron warrior), so with that missing, tracking is suitable. However, I don't like the idea to throw away cards, but that's the feeling the card has make in many hunter players (willing to take the risk or not?).
On the other side, with all these spells I hear the call of YOLO-Saron to fit here. I mean,I've give up on hunter this expansion to stop risking my health, so I'm more like 'Who cares? YOLO!'.
Nice idea!!

"There are bad ways to win-- and good ways to lose. What's interesting and troubling is that it's not always clear which is which. A flipped coin doesn't always land heads or tails. Sometimes it may never land at all..."
The people saying that Tracking is bad because it can ruin your combo are freaking dumb. :D I've been using Tracking in my Otk Combo Hunter for 100+ games and I've had something like 3 or 4 bad Trackings in total - it's unlikely that you'll reveal more than one important card and even if you do you can just pick the one that is better in the situation. ^^
I'm not sure how you're doing well with this. It really struggles with face warrior and can't draw fast enough to outrace other decks. I really don't think that having Barnes in the deck is worth sacrificing some of the better draw minions (Azure Drake, Thalnos, maybe even Loot Hoarder). Other OTK decks just do it better in my opinion.
Just been playing around with my old Malyhunter deck. Give it a try if you want
Tracking totally sucks in this kind of a deck.

Yeah, a toast!

The only minions you play are Malygos and Emperor. Now, I think this i so Barnes always pulls something insane, but maybe you want to:
- 2 Multi Shot
+2 Savannah Highmane
or add a copy of Y'saargh, Rage Unbound in ;)
Unfortunatly, I don't have Malygos, and he isn't on my soon-to-be-crafted list. Otherwise I would have played the deck a bit :)
Its fun, and i don't see pirate warrior every match so its pretty viable.
I had this kind of deck before Karazhan and this looks like a way better version of it. Thanks for sharing, I will try this deck now.
