basically title, i usually see people use both terms to reffer to (i think) the same deckso i wanted to know if there is really a difference between them
Basically a combo deck is any deck whose win condition is getting a number of cards together to get some kind of effect greater than they would do on their own. A druid deck for example usually has the force of will/savage roar combo. its often included as a secondary win con in a midrange druid deck which may have cause your confusion.
As mentioned above, generally midrange decks are the ones that strive to finish out the match in the mid-game through board control, efficient trades and good quality minions. Combo ones are the decks that rely on a group of cards that give them the win condition.
In case of Druid those deck archetypes mix ever since ramp Druid fell out of the meta and a faster (midrange) version became more popular. My guess about both terms used when applied to Druid is that the nature of the deck is still midrange (minion focused) with 4 cards in the deck dedicated to combo as a finish. So it's not really a pure combo deck (compare the way it plays to Freeze Mage, Patron Warrior, Oil Rogue) but it still has that element to it.
There is a difference between cards being a good combination and a combo deck. Force of nature and savage roar are just very synergistic cards, much like Archmage antonidas and those parts spells that the mechs give feed him. The difference with a combo deck is that a combo deck just plays to get a winning combination of cards out that take out the opponent in one turn. Back when classic was the only set available, the miracle rogue with its reliance on leeroy jenkins to dish out lethal damage is a good example. Another would be any deck that is about malygos. Or Patron warrior, which also is able to pull off the 30 damage in one turn from an empty board (admittedly the opponent needs to have a lot of stuff on the table).
Anyways, there is a lot of in between space for these decks. There aren't many pure combo decks out there. Usually the combo is played in addition to something else. Most combo decks out there are always combo/control or combo/aggro or combo/midrange. This is to avoid the scenario where a combo deck loses its killing condition. Example: sniping leeroy or the gadzetans in miracle rogue or the warsong commanders and patrons in patron warrior is usually fatal for those decks.
It's the same. All "competitive" midrange druids run combo.

That's good one. So what's the first win condition? Opponent's disconnect?
I very recently started playing this deck and can already say that the primary win condition is your opponent conceding at the start of your ninth turn.

So yeah, they refer to the same deck/play-style.
